Jonny Diaz is the latest signing to INO Recordings and his label debut features a soulful and passionate mix of pop and signer/songwriter type music. For Diaz, More Beautiful You, is more like his fourth release with three prior independent projects under his belt. The themes are positively uplifting with songs of comfort, “More Beautiful You,” and encouragement, “Love Like You Loved.” The soundtrack is varied with a lot of pop influences. A few other standout tracks include the jazzy “Soon Will Fade,” and the classic singer/songwriter style “Love Like You.” The overall feel is comfortable and infectious – a good radio-quality for the genre. The album closes on a parody of being the opening act, aptly titled “The Opening Act.” The song closes the album on a more humorous note compared to the majority of serious content on the rest of the album.
