Four Eyed Blond
Chonda Pierce
Word

On March 6th, Chonda Pierce released her fourth audio/video performance, "Four Eyed Blond". At the same time she kicked off her 2001 national tour.

"Four Eyed Blond" was recorded live at The Peoples Church in Franklin, TN. This performance focuses on family life and motherhood at age 40. Chonda shares personal stories about her young children, shopping, being the middle child, and the popularity of talking vegetables. "Four Eyed Blonde" is not just a glimpse, but a whole view on how Chonda sees things as she shares the experiences in her life. She not only shares about the joys and humorous times in life, but about her personal trials and how God enabled her to get through those rough times. She helps the audience to see things in life in a way that encourages them to take everything in life, joys and sorrows, to Jesus.

Chonda has a style of her own when it comes to comedy. At the drop of a hat she can turn humor into a thought provoking moment and then the reverse. She is very personable and down to earth. She even laughs at herself, and gets carried away with the audience. Many people can relate to her.

It's not very common for a woman in comedy to have a positive outlook on life, and be an encouragement to others. Chonda's personal testimony gives credibility to her witness. After all that she has been through, Chonda still finds strength in God and uses humor to deliver a message of hope and spread the Word.
