30-CC caught up with Sparrow Records recording artist ZOEgirl during the group's tour stop in Rockford, Illinois. Here are some excerpts.

30-CC: You're currently on the "Free Experience" tour. What's this tour all about?

Chrissy Conway: I became a Christian at a concert. It was through music that I found the Lord. We have a lot of freedoms in this country: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. All that can be taken away in a heartbeat. But one thing that can never be taken away is the freedom that we find in Christ. We want to share that freedom with whoever will come (to our shows).

30-CC: You did a video for "You Get Me" (which is nominated for a Dove Award). What can you tell us about it?

Kristin Swinford: We filmed it in a dry lakebed in California [and] it was an amazing experience. The director captured so much; the sunsets, everything you see is real, there were no special effects, t was just gorgeous. I think it's our best video yet.

30-CC: Any new projects for 2004?

Chrissy Conway: Not any new CDs. We write all our own songs so we're always in the writing process. Hopefully we'll have one next year, who knows?

Alisa Girard: As soon as we get off tour we'll start focusing on a new CD more and get writing for it.
