30CC - You're currently on tour with Sara Groves, can you tells us about the tour and how you two go together?

Joel - We're doing 22 cities in 30 days, and we've been out for about 3 1/2 weeks now. Sara and I got together just by being mutual admires of each others song writing, and we're both from the Twin Cities, so it was kind of convenient to be put together.

30CC - You just released your second solo record Broken. What can listeners expect?

Joel - It's about my faith and my family. Originally it was going to be called Who I Am, but we went with Broken because it was the first single.

30CC- What is the meaning of the song "Broken"?

Joel - That's a song I wrote with Rebecca St. James, [it's] just about trying to keep pride out of the way and following what God has for us.

30CC - Many remember your former group PFR, any news on PFR?

Joel - The latest news is we're playing a couple festivals this summer, and we're playing with Jars of Clay in September in MN; just kind of playing for the love of the game now.
