“One of the greatest joys of my life is being a parent and a grandparent,” says Smith, the father of five, who is called “G-Daddy” by his 14 grandkids. “I want to serve the next generation well. That’s why I created Nurturing Steps, to provide stories and songs that will help shape the faith of our newest generation.”

“I have wonderful memories of reading, singing and praying with my children before bed,” says Nawrocki. “It can be a sacred time with our little ones, and I’m thrilled to be able to partner with Michael to create stories that parents and grandparents can use to help pass important values on to their children and grandchildren.”

CANCER SURVIVOR CHRIS WARK’S AMAZON BEST SELLING DEBUT BOOK, CHRIS BEAT CANCER, HITS NUMBER 3 ON AMAZON TOP SALES CHART

CANCER SURVIVOR CHRIS WARK’S AMAZON BEST SELLING DEBUT BOOK, CHRIS BEAT CANCER, HITS NUMBER 3 ON AMAZON TOP SALES CHART

World-Renowned Speaker and Global Health Coach’s Comprehensive Plan
for Natural Healing Tops Multiple Amazon Best Seller Genre Charts
Best selling author, world-renowned speaker and global health coach Chris Wark’s new book, Chris Beat Cancer, released Tuesday, September 25, 2018. The book has already reached #3 on Amazon’s overall Best Seller sales chart after topping multiple Amazon genre Best Seller charts in pre-release. (Hay House Publishing photo)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 4,
2017) – Less than a week after its initial release, Chris Beat Cancer, the debut book from world-renowned speaker and global health coach Chris Wark, landed among the Top 5 titles at Amazon, climbing all the way to the Number 3 spot on the online retail giant’s overall Best Seller sales chart–right between Bob Woodward’s Number 1 New York Times Best Seller, Fear: Trump in the Whitehouse, and Reese Witherspoon’s Whiskey in a Teacup: What Growing Up in the South Taught Me About Life, Love, and Baking Biscuits
Pre-orders for the hardback and kindle ebook versions of Chris Beat Cancer had previously launched the title to the top of multiple Amazon Best Seller genre charts, including the Cancer, Oncology, Alternative Medicine, Naturopathy, Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Green Housecleaning, Prostate Disease, and Colorectal Cancer categories. “I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement at the response to my book so far,” says Wark. “Hitting Number 3 on Amazon’s top sales chart is something I did not expect!”   Shortly before Christmas Day, 2003, when he was just 26 years old, Wark received the devastating news that he had Stage IIIc colon cancer. Following his physician’s advice, He  underwent surgery to remove a golf-ball sized tumor, a third of his colon and cancerous lymph nodes.      At that point, Wark was strongly advised to undergo chemotherapy in order to survive, but instead he chose to embark on a radically different path to uncover the root causes of his disease and transform his life in order to help his body heal.   With over a half-million email newsletter subscribers and over 100,000 followers on YouTube and on Facebook, Wark says he is excited by the incredible response his book has already received. “Medical care is the third leading cause of death in the U.S. and many people have lost faith in conventional medicine. They want to take control of their health and they want to know what they can do to help themselves heal and prevent disease. The natural health movement is exploding.”   While Wark is quick to point out that he is not a doctor or practitioner, and does not give medical advice, he passionately shares his story of healing cancer with nutrition and natural, non-toxic therapies, as well as the healing stories of many other holistic survivors, on his blog and social media channels. His mission is to provide inspiration and encouragement, and to empower patients, and anyone who is serious about prevention, with knowledge that they can use to change their life and restore their health.
Wark describes himself in the beginning of his journey as a typical cancer patient rushed in to surgery with very little information, but his experience in the hospital was an eye-opener.
“The first meal they served me in the hospital after removing a third of my large intestine was a sloppy joe, the worst cafeteria food imaginable. Red meat is a Group 2 carcinogen directly linked to colon cancer. It was unbelievable,” Wark recalls. “Before I checked out of the hospital, I asked my surgeon, ‘Are there any foods I need to avoid?’ He said, ‘Nah, just don’t lift anything heavier than a beer.’ These were my first indications that there was a vast disconnect between healthcare and healthy food.”
After surgery Wark began to think about his life, his future, and his treatment options. “I did not have peace about chemotherapy,” he says. Through prayer and research, Wark came to the realization that his diet, lifestyle and stress were the most likely culprits that contributed to his cancer.
Instead of chemotherapy, Wark radically changed his diet and lifestyle. His survival mission was to identity and eliminate everything from his life that may have contributed to his disease and replace those things with hardcore anticancer nutrition as well as health-promoting habits and therapies.
A committed Christian, Wark gives Jesus Christ the credit for his life and health. He also believes that God uses a variety of methods to heal. “I don’t tell patients what treatments to do or not do,” Wark says. “I just help them evaluate their options so they can make an informed decision and not be rushed into potentially life-threatening treatments they don’t understand. I recommend working with a doctor, but on your own terms. The patient should be in charge of their healing journey.
“The first oncologist I saw treated me badly, but I found an integrative oncologist and a nutritionist who supported me and they became a part of my healing team. I had blood work done monthly and CT scans every six months to keep a close eye on my progress during the most intensive phase. I now have blood work done about once a year and I also have a colonoscopy about every five years. Everything is perfect and I am cancer free and in the best shape of my life.”

“We live in a cause and effect universe, and our choices matter. Our choices today affect our health tomorrow.” Wark insists. “The number one cause of cancer is smoking. The second major cause of cancer is obesity. Over two-thirds of Americans are overweight, and over one-third are obese. The vast majority of cancers are not caused by “bad luck” or bad genes. Our unhealthy American diet and lifestyle choices are the main culprits. The two biggest cancer causers are from what we put in our mouths, cigarettes and unhealthy food. But the good news is you can change! You can choose to live your life in a way that promotes health, not disease. There are so many things you can do to help your body heal. And that’s what I empower people to do.”
In his book, Chris Beat Cancer, Wark uncovers a number of factors in our modern world that are contributing to our increasing rates of cancer, including our processed food diet, our increasingly sedentary lifestyle, environmental toxins, and stress. But he reserves a special chapter that deals with forgiveness.
“Forgiveness is a huge part of my message,” Wark says. “As a Christian, I am a strong believer in God’s healing power, and forgiveness was a major theme of Jesus’ life and ministry. Long-term bitterness and resentment are toxic emotions which cause profound stress in the body, increasing inflammation and decreasing immune function, both of which make you more susceptible to cancer and other chronic diseases.”
Far from offering a quick fix for long-term problems, Wark describes the path he advocates as simple, but not easy. “Health and healing require a massive life change,” he declares. “There are four components to health: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. All must be addressed. This involves addressing your physical needs with nutrition, healthy sleep habits, and exercise; and addressing your attitude, emotions and thoughts. Most importantly, the spiritual aspects of health need to be addressed as well, including faith, love, and forgiveness. This is not a quick fix. It’s not a magic bullet. This is a comprehensive approach to healing that requires determination, commitment and massive action. But these are things that anyone can do!”
In addition to his book, Chris Beat Cancer, Wark hosts a popular website, podcast, and YouTube channel where he offers powerful encouragement to transform your life and regain your health.

PLUMB Releases Second Book: FIGHT FOR HER…Even if You Have to Fight Her

Artist Announces Upcoming Tour to Support New Album that Features the Title Track to BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN Film.
Nashville, TN – Prolific multi-genre recording artist PLUMB continues to inspire and empower with the release of her sophomore book FIGHT FOR HER…Even if You Have To Fight Her.   FIGHT FOR HER is a moving challenge to fight for each other – even if that means fighting with each other. Our relationships can often be messy, but when we challenge and support each other with love and grace, lives are transformed.      “Originally I planned to write a book for mothers and daughters, but as I started working on the book, it hit me that ALL women are daughters, whether they ever become a mother or not,” Plumb explains. “We need to be reminded that we areall sons and daughters of God and we have been and will continue to be fought for…regardless of our earthly experience with the parents we have or haven’t had.”   Drawn from the generational lessons of both being and having a daughter, PLUMB explores fundamental questions everyone, especially females, face with depth and levity. Her sense of humor and down-to-earth style draw us to hold on to Jesus and each other with full hearts, as we strive for the best for each other. With thoughtful questions at the end of each chapter, FIGHT FOR HER offers an empowering, encouraging and enriching read, both as a stand-alone book or small group discussion.     She continues, “I wrote the book from my perspective as a woman to challenge the way we, as women, communicate with each other; however, the sentiment resonates with men equally. Often ‘fighting for’ can look like ‘fighting with’, and ‘standing up for’ can be interpreted as ‘standing up to’. I hope FIGHT FOR HER begins a revolution of people committed to fighting for, supporting, and challenging each other to be all we were created to be, by communicating the truth of what God says about us, to us, in love.  Sometimes, that is telling someone who thinks or feels unworthy how beautiful and valuable they truly are. And sometimes it means telling them no.”       FIGHT FOR HER comes on the heels of the BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN album, written simultaneously, that released in June. The book and album speak to one another as PLUMB continues her commitment to sharing transparent, personal stories that remind us that we are all broken, we are not alone, and we are all loved fiercely by God who can powerfully restore us in ways we could never imagine.    Following the themes of the book and album, PLUMB has just launched a playful Alice in Wonderland inspired video for the album’s title track. It serves as a reminder that, much like a teacup, we are all beautiful and valuable, but easily broken.  PLUMB shares, “No matter how broken we are, it doesn’t change who we belong to, our beauty, our value, or how He loves us.  No matter what we have done or what has been done to us, we are still His. He wants us to give Him that brokenness, the chips and breaks, the pain and sadness, to advance His kingdom. He invites us to celebrate how we are all His children. That ultimately is all that matters. Being His. Being beautiful. Even in our brokenness.”   The “Beautifully Broken” video can be viewed here: http://plumbmusic.net/beautifully-broken-official-music-video/   The title track is also the theme song for the film Beautifully Broken, just released in theaters on August 24.   PLUMB tour dates: 8/25 – Waconia MN  9/2 – West Liberty, OH

MICHAEL W. SMITH CREATES NURTURING STEPS™,

RELEASES HIS FIRST CHILDREN’S ALBUM, BOOK

Lullaby Album, Nighty Night and Good Night Book Both Crafted In Collaboration With VeggieTales Co-Creator Mike Nawrocki

Multi-Platinum, three-time Grammy® Award winning artist, best-selling author and acclaimed actor Michael W. Smith launches Nurturing Steps™, a new infant and toddler series with a simple mission to provide parents and grandparents with music and books to enliven a young child’s journey with hope and faith through song and storytelling.

The first new album, Lullaby, and book, Nighty Night and Good Night, from Nurturing Steps release May 4 and May 8 through The Fuel Music and Zonderkidz™ respectfully. These projects also mark the first-ever children’s album and book by Michael, each crafted in collaboration with renowned VeggieTales co-creator Mike Nawrocki. The book is available now to preorder through NurturingSteps.com or favorite online retailers.

“One of the greatest joys of my life is being a parent and a grandparent,” says Michael, the father of five, who is called “G-Daddy” by his 14 grandkids. “I want to serve the next generation well. That’s why I created Nurturing Steps, to provide stories and songs that will help shape the faith of our newest generation.”

For Lullaby, Michael meaningfully arranges his worldwide hits like “Agnus Dei” and “Friends” along with new ballads “No More Crying,” “Sleep Tight” and more, and leads an audio bedtime drama for young children with the Nighty Night characters. The Nighty Nights also join Michael as his band with Bear on Guitar, Lamby on Keys and Sleepy Puppy on Upright Base.

In Nighty Night and Good Night, members of the Nighty Night band are further called upon to help their friend, Ben, as he tries to fall asleep. After bedtime prayers and some going-to-sleep rituals are done, a lullaby sung by the band of animals including Bear, Sleepy Puppy and Lamby finally does the trick.

“I have wonderful memories of reading, singing and praying with my children before bed,” says Nawrocki. “It can be a sacred time with our little ones, and I’m thrilled to be able to partner with Michael to create stories that parents and grandparents can use to help pass important values on to their children and grandchildren.”

Known as one of the most influential Christian music artists in the world, Michael recently performed “A Million Lights” and “Surrounded (Fight My Battles)” from his 5-star-aclaimed albums A Million Lights and Surrounded respectively on ABC-TV’s Good Morning America. He has also recently been featured by USA Today, Billboard, TBN, FOX News, CBN, Parade, Yahoo! Music and many more outlets as these albums became his 30th and 31st Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, more than any other solo artist in history.

Taking the new music and fan favorites from his extensive repertoire on the road internationally, Michael begins his “Israel Tour 2018” next week before continuing his “Sounded By A Million Lights World Tour” that is traversing the eastern half of the US this spring prior to wrapping up May 13 in Joplin, MO. Already seeing packed venues, this full-production tour is being presented by Compassion International and features special guest Nathan Tasker.

Even in the midst of his busy schedule, Michael makes time for his children and grandchildren and treasures the special moments he has to speak into their lives.

“I hope they see these books and this music as a gift to them, to remember that they are loved as they fall asleep every night,” says Michael.

Following the release of Lullaby and Nighty Night and Good Night, additional Nurturing Steps titles releasing this fall will be announced.

Dana K. White
“The dirty little secret about most organizing advice is that it’s written by organized people,” says White. “But that’s not how my brain works. I’m lost on page three.” White first chronicled her successes and failures with her self-described “deslobification process” on her top-rated, hilarious home management blog, A Slob Comes Clean. Thousands of readers now look to her as the go-to expert for managing the home, and in her first book, White offers them reality-based cleaning and organizing insights for every desperate household. How To Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind will minister to the reader beyond their household mess and everyday tasks into their heart to break self-defeating behaviors and create lasting internal change.
What does it take to bring a home out of “disaster status”? In her book, White explores how cleaning your house is not a one-time project, but a series of ongoing premade decisions. Her cleaning and organizing techniques debunk the biggest housekeeping fantasies with reality as well as humor.

In a moment of inspired desperation in 2009, White started a blog called A Slob Comes Clean. JENNIFER WILDER MORGAN’S COME TO THE GARDEN AVAILABLE NOW

TEXAS HOMEMAKER-TURNED-AUTHOR, JENNIFER WILDER MORGAN, ACKNOWLEDGES HOW DIVINE ENCOUNTERS IMPACT HEALING AND DRAW PEOPLE CLOSER TO GOD IN

COME TO THE GARDEN

INSPIRATIONAL TITLE DEBUTS ON THE

TODAY SHOW, TUESDAY, FEB. 23

“Jennifer has written an amazing and beautiful book with COME TO THE GARDEN where she introduces us to a lovely angel named ‘Margaret’ who creates a special and safe place for people to come and tell their stories.”

Kathie Lee Gifford

Los Angeles, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2016) – Texas homemaker-turned-lay minister and author, Jennifer Wilder Morgan, acknowledges how sharing divine encounters can draw people closer to God in her debut release, COME TO THE GARDEN. The inspirational book hits shelves nationwide, today, Feb. 23, 2016 through Howard Books (a division of Simon & Schuster) along with an Audible version narrated by Today Show Host and Emmy Award-winner, Kathie Lee Gifford and produced by Eakin Films & Publishing.

In conjunction with the release, Morgan joined Kathie Lee & Hoda on the Today Show to discuss her book, the Audible release and upcoming one-night cinema event, Come To The Garden – On Stage! (Fathom Events/May 2016).

“Jennifer has written an amazing and beautiful book with COME TO THE GARDEN where she introduces us to a lovely angel named ‘Margaret’ who creates a special and safe place for people to come and tell their stories,” says Gifford. “Margaret is the perfect vehicle to guide us through this Garden. She’s so lovable and I enjoyed voicing her because she’s not a fairy godmother, she is very much God’s creation…an angel that has been with us during our journey and loves us very much.”

Inspired by her ministry at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Morgan believes that sharing how God shows Himself can lead to healing and deeper faith as we share our experiences and in turn, actively listen to each other.

Right before her 50th birthday, Morgan felt called by God to write about how He has been speaking to her throughout her life, mostly through dreams.

“I never planned on writing a book,” says Morgan, whose writing experience is limited to English classes in high school and college. “But when I started thinking about it, I realized that God has been speaking to me, but I always kept my dreams to myself. I didn’t want people to think I was strange.”

As Morgan began to consider what it would look like to put her real-life accounts on paper, she felt as if God told her to use a fictional angel, “Margaret,” to help her share her experiences with readers. Throughout the book in powerful conversations, Margaret helps her recognize how God has been connecting with her from the beginning of her childhood to the present.

In the highly anticipated release, Morgan explains how prayer and listening to others speak about their divine encounters encouraged her to embrace the truth of her own experiences and share her journey with others.

“I began to realize that others were having the same or similar experiences and encounters with the

Divine as I was,” she says. “The stories they shared with me validated and reinforced my own encounters.

I also saw the healing that comes as people share their stories with an accepting listener. It allows them to embrace what they’ve experienced—stories they might have been afraid to talk about. I knew that I, too, had to share my experiences in this book—encounters that I believe draw people closer to the heart of a personal God who wants to be known.”

COME TO THE GARDEN received recognition at the Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards

Contest and has already garnered endorsements from a number of key influencers, including Sharon

Hargrove (author of Safe at Home: A Baseball Wife’s Story), Rev. Dr. Ed Robb III (senior pastor of The

Woodlands United Methodist Church), Constance Bovier (author of More God, From the Crucible and

Restoring Hope), Julie and Katie Black (co-founders of the Contemporary Christian Women’s Academy) and Frank Eakin (publisher of New York Times bestseller 12 Years a Slave), and others.

“Jennifer Wilder Morgan is an exceedingly creative writer. With sanctified imagination, she opens a window into God’s love and provision.” – Rev. Dr. Ed Robb III

“Some years ago, as a spiritual director, I quickly realized that I was sitting in the presence of a woman specially gifted with living in a thin place, where the veil between the here and the not-here trembles with anticipation of new encounters with the Divine.” – Constance Bovier, author of More of God, from the

Crucible and Restoring Hope

“Jennifer’s authenticity and fresh style, combined with Kathie Lee’s superb narration performance, will captivate readers and cause many to explore their own pathway to God’s presence. – Frank Eakin,

Eakin Films & Publishing, leading producer of star-narrated audiobooks and publisher of New

York Times bestseller 12 Years A Slave

In May 2016, Morgan will host a unique stage event as part of the book launch titled “Come To The Garden – On Stage!” The feature-length professional stage show will use groundbreaking three-dimensional projection technology to fuse live-action and animation, creating a unique and immersive experience on the big screen. “Come to the Garden – On Stage!” will release in select U.S. cinemas through Fathom Events and Eakin Films.

GINNY OWENS LIVES ‘NO BORDERS’ THEME WITH NEW BOOK,
TRIP TO ISRAEL AND STRING OF SUMMER FESTIVAL DATES

Drawing comparisons to Sarah McLachlan, Colbie Caillat and Sara Bareilles, fresh-faced, singer-songwriter Ginny Owens follows her 2014 ‘I Know A Secret’ album by leading a group on a 10-day trip to the Holy Land, continuing an extensive radio and media tour in promotion of her current single “No Borders,” and preparing for the release of her first book.

Co-authored with long-time friend, Andrew Greer, Transcending Mysteries — part of the Refraction Collection from Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins Christian Publishing — is Inspired by conversations with friends who wholeheartedly embrace the Gospel of Jesus but are uncertain how to reconcile it with the God of the Old Testament. The book explores Old Testament passages, pairing them with the authors’ personal stories in an attempt to discover more about the greatest mystery of all time – God.

“I personally found that stories I’d heard all my life took on new meaning; and Scripture I’d never explored, challenged and moved my heart,” shares Ginny. “I’m excited for readers to consider our findings and make discoveries of their own.”

Making discoveries has long been a hallmark of Owens’ personal and professional paths, highlighted recently by a trip to Israel that she co-led with Greer, for a group of 26. “Since I couldn’t ‘see’ Israel, I spent lots of time touching it–the old walls of the city of Jerusalem, the even older stones of cities excavated by archaeologists, the beautiful mosaics covering the floors and walls of churches built on historical sites, and the rough bed of rock in the Garden Tomb, where Jesus’ body may have been laid. Every moment of my Israel experience was incredibly memorable and moving,” she offers.

The Israel trip now completed, and the book release impending, Owens is concentrating on a set of festival dates this summer in support of ‘I Know A Secret,’ a project hailed by Yahoo Music, CCM Magazine, The Tennessean, New Release Tuesday and more, as the best of her 15-year recording career.

With performances at the following festivals, Ginny will be one of this year’s most impactful artists on the Christian Festival circuit.

Heritage Builders to Publish “Dozi the Alligator” Children’s Series from Award-Winning Cartoonist Daniel Boris

(CLOVIS, California) — Heritage Builders Publishing has announced that it will publish the “Dozi the Alligator” children’s series by award-winning cartoonist Daniel Boris. The first book in the series, “Dozi the Alligator Finds a Family,” will be released on March 15, 2015.

This entertaining children’s book series revolves around an irrepressible alligator named Dozi. Early volumes take young readers through the adventures of how a little gator from the wilds of the American south comes to live with a family in a big city. Each volume expands on the fun and very unlikely friendship between Dozi and a boy named Byron.

In “Dozi the Alligator Finds a Family,” the lovable little alligator observes wondrous colorful lights over a distant Florida amusement park, and his curiosity gets the best of him. He heads off to discover the strange and fascinating new world of humans. While hiding inside the popular theme park, Dozi makes the decision to stow away with an unsuspecting family. During the long, overnight drive back home to the city, Dozi befriends 9-year-old Byron Hoxwinder. When the family arrives at their home, only Byron knows that they have brought Dozi home with them.

Educators around the country are already falling in love with Dozi:

“Children will delight in the melodic rhythm of this story as the adorable main character stretches their imagination and touches their hearts. A refreshing, charming tale with enduring appeal for all ages.”

– Melissa DiGennaro King, Ph.D. in Education, Charlottesville, VA

“This is awesome! I love the rhyming, as it will definitely capture the attention of younger kids and love the language to keep the older kids engaged as well!”
-Kristen Kinney-Haines, EdD, Learning Specialist, Washington, DC
