Ken Ham, Founder and CEO of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum, states, “With the new 4D theater at the museum and other upgrades, I believe our guests will be dazzled by all the new technology. It will greatly help us teach biblical truths, starting with Genesis.”   The full-length, RealD 3D version of the film released on over 1,200 screens last fall and was nominated for 6 top awards, including winning Best Director of a Documentary at the 2018 International Christian Film Festival.  GENESIS: PARADISE LOST and IN SIX DAYS are only a fraction of the many endeavors to fulfill the Creation Today mission: impact the world to KNOW and DEFEND their Creator-GOD!      Eric Hovind, Founder and President of Creation Today, explains, “We saw the opportunity to create an experience that goes far beyond just reading about the creation account in Scripture. The Creation Museum’s 4D theater experience allows a multi-sensory experience that will leave a lasting impact on the viewer. I guarantee you will look at Genesis 1 with new eyes after experiencing IN SIX DAYS!”   GENESIS: PARADISE LOST and IN SIX DAYS are part of Creation Today, a Bible-based 501(c)(3) apologetics ministry committed to excellence and the spread of the Gospel. THE BEATITUDES PROJECT SHINES HOPE AMIDST DEEPEST HUMAN SUFFERING

Stories Of Death, Loss, Mourning Inspire “Carry On”

Featuring Michael W. Smith On 5-Star Acclaimed Beatitudes Album

“When all hope seems lost, when we can’t fix it, when we are grieving the absence of righteousness and justice, when there is no joy— God is on our side.” – Stu Garrard

Stories found in The Beatitudes Project resonate with the most overwhelming of human emotions. While all humanity has dealt with, or will deal with death, loss, this project reveals the upside-down message of the Beatitudes that God is found in the midst of mourning, and promises to bring comfort.

That message of hope is especially found in the song “Carry On” written by Stu Garrard, Ian Cron and multiple GRAMMY Award-winning, Platinum-selling recording artist Michael W. Smith in the wake of Smith’s father’s death. The song fleshes out Matthew 5:4’s “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

“I love the chorus of the song: Rolling waves of sorrow, rivers of grief. In the valley of the shadow, I feel you walking with me,” shares Smith who calls his dad one of the greatest men he’s ever known. “When I think about ‘blessed are those who mourn,’ I think about presence. I think about Emanuel, God with us… anybody who’s a God follower, if they were extremely honest with themselves, they probably feel the presence of God in the deepest valley of their lives.”

“There will always be this ache and lack and longing,” adds Garrard of the grand irony of humanness, our need for certainty in a world where it doesn’t really exist. “These are not conditions to be fixed. It’s not about finding a ladder to climb up, but about understanding that God is with us… I hope that this project can lift up some heads and encourage people in all kinds of tough situations to keep going with the realization that God is on their side.”

“Carry On” is featured on The Beatitudes Project 5-star-acclaimed, multi-artist Beatitudes album that has been featured by Entertainment Weekly, Yahoo! Music, Apple Music, CCM Magazine, NewReleaseToday.com, National Catholic Reporter, JesusFreakHideout, Christian Musician magazine and many others, and which released to digital and physical retailers worldwide from Stugiology Music with management, marketing and distribution through The Fuel Music.

Michael W. Smith is pictured at The Smoakstack recording studio while recording “Carry On” for Beatitudes.
Pictured is Beatitudes “Carry On” lyrics, as well as artwork by noted musicians/artists Jimmy Abegg and Cory Basil.
The project is also a book, Words From The Hill (An Invitation to the Unexpected) available now from NavPress, and a documentary film, View From the Hill, currently in production. It is the culmination of GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winning musician, producer and author Stu Garrard’s (Stu G) 15-year excavation of these “blessings at the bottom of life.”

In addition to those that mourn, The Beatitudes Project reveals a wide world of connected stories: real people from all faiths and walks of life who embody mercy, poverty, meekness, the hungry and thirsty, the mourners, the peacemakers and the pure in heart—as seen, heard and experienced through a 21st century lens.

Garrard’s own seasons of mourning are chronicled in chapter 2 of the book, “Mourn—The Grief of Change,” where he writes about the untimely death of his friend Joe Cox, his family dog Buddy, and his next-door neighbor. He also writes about a lesson in God’s presence from actor, activist and Catholic Martin Sheen, and about the loss he felt following the end of his band Delirious? in 2009.

“I missed the raw passion, the vision, the sense that we were going somewhere and saying something,” writes Garrard in Words From the Hill. “I missed playing the music we’d written together, and I missed standing alongside Martin [Smith] at the front of the stage, helping to steer a movement with prophetic vision.”

Remarkably, Delirious? lead vocalist Martin Smith joins Garrard to write and record “Holy Troublemakers” for Beatitudes, marking the first time these two have recorded together since their band disbanded.

Other artists featured on the album include Amy Grant (“Morning Light”), Hillsong UNITED (“The View from Here”), Matt Maher (“Oh Mercy”), John Mark McMillan (“Heaven Is Around Us”), Audrey Assad, All Sons & Daughters, Amanda Cook, Propaganda (“Make A Little Trouble”), The Brilliance, Anthony Skinner (“Oh Blessed”), Terrian Bass and Becky Harding. Collectively, these artists have sold more than 62 million records, won 11 Grammy, 90 Dove Awards and amassed dozens of hit songs and millions of followers on social media.

The Millennial Tour Closes 2016 with Successful Spring Dates

Mobile App and New Documentary Film with Apologetics Teachings to Launch in 2016 and 2017

New Orleans, La. (June 6, 2016) —- The Millennial Tour closed 2016 with very successful dates this spring that included stops in Myrtle Beach, SC, Harrisburg, PA, Normal, IL, Mobile, AL, Coweta, OK and three of the Hawaiian Islands. The tour had over 5,000 in attendance and over 120 Millennial age attendees making new commitments to Christ, along with over 250 pledging re-dedications to defend their faith at school and on college campuses.

The tour featured Pop-Dance artist and actress, Abigail Duhon; Pop/R&B artist and actor, Spencer Kane; Pop/Rock sister duo, LoveCollide; CHR Hip-Hop artist, Beacon Light; Urban R&B artist, Drew Allen, Billboard charting Pop Rock band, Bread of Stone, with video messages from God’s Not Dead author, Dr. Rice Broocks, and Director of The Human Right, Heath Adamson. Responses from the concert show the strong impact the tour is having with audience members saying, “really inspirational,” “strengthened my faith in God,” “new sense of reassurance in the Gospel,” “authentic artists with their testimonies.”

Launched in Spring 2015, The Millennial Tour was the concept of Executive Producer for both of the highly popular and record-breaking God’s Not Dead movies, Troy Duhon. The basis of the tour comes from 1Peter 3:15: But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

Due to the impact that the tour and films are having with Millennials, Duhon and Broocks just debuted a new God’s Not Dead mobile app in June at Creation Northeast, with additional presentations at the Sonshine Festival in July and Creation Northwest in August. The app features apologetics teachings that are easy and straightforward for the young teen markets, with basic skills on how to defend their faith.

Targeted for summer 2017, there will be another feature film in the God’s Not Dead series, but this production will be a documentary. It will feature some of the world’s leading scientists and apologetic authorities who will present undeniable facts about the proof of God’s existence.

“We recognize the dire need of Millennials to be equipped to defend their Christian beliefs in a society that is focused on science and atheism as the truth behind our existence,” explains Duhon. “The tour has been reaching Millennials through the Christian Festival Association in summer 2015 and the recent tour this spring, with a simple explanation around basic truths that apologetics can teach. In both instances, we introduced a concept called HIGH 5 that gives Millennials five easy talking points on a small card that covers the beginnings of our galaxy through the human right to know Jesus as Lord. The God’s Not Dead app takes the content even deeper where Millennials can easily read and watch apologetics content on their mobile phones. We need to equip these 13 – 20 year olds with the tools to protect their faith.”

Dr. Broocks adds, “Young people aren’t being prepared with the answers they need to sustain their faith in the hostile environment of several university settings. Real faith isn’t blind, it’s evidence-based. There’s an astounding amount of evidence that God’s not dead, and we need to make this information easily available to the Millennials.

God’s Not Dead2 released April 1, 2016 and had premieres in Los Angeles and Nashville, with many of the film’s stars attending that included Melissa Joan Hart, Jesse Metcalfe, Robin Givens, the late Fred Thompson, Newsboys, Abigail Duhon, Spencer Kane and Love Collide. The film continues the story in Hope Springs, when a teacher (Hart) has to go to court to defend her comments about Jesus in the classroom. The original movie, God’s Not Dead that released in 2014, created a national stir among atheists and Christians alike when the film’s direct approach to the question of an omnipotent God as creator of all things was based on real-life college situations facing Christian students. The film used several references from Broocks’ book of the same title.

ABOUT GABE’S CHEMO DUCK PROGRAM
Gabe’s Chemo Duck Program is a program of the Nashville-based nonprofit organization, Gabe’s My Heart, which was established in 2004 to provide education and comfort to children living with cancer through medical play using therapeutic tools. The goal of the program is to enable hospital staff and parents to prepare children for chemotherapy treatment and eliminate the fear of the unknown. Chemo Duck is a stuffed yellow duck dressed in blue hospital scrubs with a bandana around its head, a chemotherapy port on its chest and an immobilizer on his arm. In a gentle, age-appropriate manner, children learn what to expect during cancer treatment and have a friend to share the experience. In turn, children can use Chemo Duck to help friends, siblings and classmates to understand and empathize with their experience. For more information, visit www.chemoduck.org.
