LOS ANGELES, CA. (Feb. 19, 2015)— Inpop Records, a Nashville-based entertainment company, is coming off an immensely successful 2014 and is preparing for a monumental lineup for 2015. To kick off the year, Inpop is celebrating the release of Just Kids (Inpop/Aware) on Feb. 24, the highly anticipated album from critically acclaimed singer/songwriter MAT KEARNEY.

Additionally, Inpop is announcing two new additions to their roster: Pop/hip-hop artist V.ROSE and Southern/Pop act CONSUMED BY FIRE. Both of these new artist’s music will be prominently featured in the upcoming film “Four Blood Moons,” as well as the soundtrack which Inpop will distribute this summer.

FOUR BLOOD MOONS (Goose Creek Productions/Inpop) is a theatrical one-night event exploring a rare lunar phenomenon that over the centuries has accompanied both tragedy and triumph for the Jewish people. From Pastor John Hagee’s New York Times best-selling book of the same name, “Four Blood Moons” is in theaters March 23 and the DVD releases June 23.

FAMILY FORCE 5 SECURES CAREER FIRST RADIO NO. 1 WITH “LET IT BE LOVE”

Holly Spears Releases Country Album, While Filming Her Acting Debut in the Upcoming Faith-Based Film, “Nail 32

(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) — Singer-songwriter Holly Spears is pleased to announce the release of her first country EP, Boots and Bling, which is available now at iTunes and www.hollyspears.com. The 8-song EP from Girl on a Mission Music is the follow-up to her 2014 Christian music EP, Audience of One.

“Boots and Bling is my attempt to get back to my roots and embrace who I’ve grown into,” says Spears. “I grew up in a little country town and dared to moved away from it at the young age of 18. I moved five hours away from everything I had ever known in pursuit of a music career. Back then, I couldn’t wait to move to the city. Now, I can’t wait to live on more property and get more horses. I grew up as a tomboy, and when I moved away, I became more ‘girly.’ Today, I’m a good mix of the two.”

As if she wasn’t busy enough with promoting her new album, Spears is currently in Texas filming the upcoming faith-based film, Nail 32. Along with Spears, the film stars Brad Johnson (Always, Left Behind), Lea Penick (American Hoggers) and more in an exhilarating and emotional true-life story of an ordinary man from north Texas who served an extraordinary purpose. The film depicts the grueling travels of the rodeo circuit, from the backbreaking bull riding to the musical oasis of the honky-tonks. It portrays both the picturesque culture of the American rancher while dispensing cowboy pride and simplistic life solutions. Just as 32 nails attach the shoes to a horse, Nail 32 clenches the importance of men being courageous, honorable, and truly God fearing.

Spears wrote five of the songs on Boots and Bling, many of which will be featured in the upcoming film. On her new EP, Spears examines her life with songs like “Brothers” and a song about her Grandpa called, “Sunshine.” Says Spears, “My ‘Pap’ was the glue that held our family together. I could definitely see Jesus in him, as well as an ornery side, which made everyone love him!”

The EP also includes cover versions of John Denver’s “Country Roads,” Paula Cole’s “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone” and the Dixie Chicks hit, “Wide Open Spaces” – which Spears calls the theme song of her teen years.

“For so many years, I rejected where I grew up, chasing someone I wasn’t,” says Spears. “Now, I am learning to be at home in my own skin and to embrace all the parts of me – the boots and the bling. My hope is that this album inspires everyone to be proud of who they are and where they come from and to know to their very core that they always belong.”

Mike Real to Release Debut Album

St. Louis, MO—February 10, 2015—Clear Sight Music: The newest signee to Christian Hip-Hop record label, Clear Sight Music, is scheduled to release his first project next month. The Mind of Hollis by artist Mike REAL will be his first album under the Clear Sight Music brand. Mike REAL grew up in Ferguson, Missouri and has been passionate about using his musical abilities as a ministry to build up those around him. Label owner and fellow artist, FLAME, discusses his anticipation for Mind of Hollis, “Many people have been waiting for us to supply more Christian rap music and now that time has arrived. I’m excited for people to hear passionate music that leads them to God while also experiencing the sonic pleasures of creative lyricism. The Mind of Hollis definitely feels like a unified body of work with the way Mike REAL has meticulously coordinated each interlude and song concept. He has a lot of talent and his diligence has paid off. I’m looking forward to March 3rd!”

 

FLAME isn’t the only one who is anticipating the project’s release. Mike REAL’s excitement is also evident as he describes the album, “The concept of the album revolves around a TV show about my life. The person ‘watching the show’ hears about my upbringing and thought processes as a teenager and adult. It is a very transparent project about God’s grace and mercy in my life. I think many people will be able to relate to it.” Mike goes on to discuss how the 6th chapter of Isaiah inspired the album, “When Isaiah saw the beauty of God he didn’t say ‘Woe is me, I am a murderer’ or ‘Woe is me, I’m an adulterer,’ but he said ‘Woe is me, I am a man of unclean lips.’ This reminded me, and I hope it does to others, that even if you haven’t committed ‘big sins’ in your life it doesn’t mean that you’re any closer to God than anyone else. We all need God to give us a new heart that beats for Him. You’ll find these and similar themes throughout the album.”

 

Next week, Mike will be releasing two singles, including “Catch Fire” featuring label mate FLAME. Mike REAL will be in concert in his hometown of St. Louis on March 6, 2015 to promote the new album.

Heritage Builders to Publish “Dozi the Alligator” Children’s Series from Award-Winning Cartoonist Daniel Boris

(CLOVIS, California) — Heritage Builders Publishing has announced that it will publish the “Dozi the Alligator” children’s series by award-winning cartoonist Daniel Boris. The first book in the series, “Dozi the Alligator Finds a Family,” will be released on March 15, 2015.

This entertaining children’s book series revolves around an irrepressible alligator named Dozi. Early volumes take young readers through the adventures of how a little gator from the wilds of the American south comes to live with a family in a big city. Each volume expands on the fun and very unlikely friendship between Dozi and a boy named Byron.

Acclaimed Singer/Songwriter Danen Kane to Release New Album Flesh and Soul March 3rd

Appleton, WI (February 5, 2015) —- Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter, Danen Kane, is scheduled to release his second national project, Flesh and Soul, March 3rd to all digital music outlets. The self-produced album was recorded at Skyview Studio in Wisconsin and OceanWay Studio in Nashville, TN. Kane once again used Grammy Award winning engineer, Mills Logan (Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Matthew West), to partially record and fully mix Flesh and Soul, while featuring Grammy Award winning session musician, Jimmie Lee Sloas (Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Switchfoot), on bass guitar throughout the album. Flesh and Soul features ten new songs that were written by Kane and once again delivers a diverse collection of music that is inspiring, emotionally honest and filled with a hope that is pointed towards Christ.
Flesh and Soul launches with “The Song That Set Us Free,” which begins as a soothing med-tempo tune that reminds us God is with us, even in the midst of our darkest loneliness. As the song progresses, it slowly ramps up in tempo before exploding into a hope filled anthem of freedom for the brokenhearted. The high-energy “When Our Time Here Is Over,” reminds us to put our faith into the Lord and not into the shallowness of the world.  Other standout songs include; the poppy but emotional “I Miss You,” the up-tempo “Rest and Be Loved,” and “No Words,” the tender “Love Song,” and the finale on the project, the classic hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.” The complete project showcases the tension between the flesh and spirit, with the day-to-day struggle every Christian continually faces. When we become real with ourselves and others, is when we can encounter Christ and truly understand our deep need for Him.

About Danen Kane
Hailing from Appleton, WI, Dane Kane was a basketball playing pre-law student in college, who detoured into music and found his life’s calling.
