![]() Currently, Plumb is appearing on Newsong’s annual A Very Merry Christmas tour.
Since the May release of EXHALE, PLUMB has been focused on sharing the album’s themes: reflecting a grateful heart, giving credit to God for the restoration of her marriage and sharing the hope that He alone can give.
Her previous album – NEED YOU NOW – was a runaway success, and was heavily focused around the near loss and redemption of her marriage. Over the past two years, Plumb’s life theme has been “hope is oxygen”, explaining that hope keeps us alive when our lives are in turmoil. Now, EXHALE launches a new call to action, to exhale a message of hope to others who are hurting.

Hitting No. 1 today on the iTunes Children’s Music chart, this engaging, high-energy CD/DVD features 11 Bethel Music worship favorites sung by kids from the Bethel Church community, including “One Thing Remains,” “You Make Me Brave,” Chasing You,” “This Is Amazing Grace” and more.
With all the songs reconstructed into synth-pop mixes, Come Alive’s accompanying DVD presents 11 story-based music videos that portray a “day in the life” of a child, full of vibrant dance-based group choreography that invites viewers to join in the fun.
“Something that’s really celebrated, especially with this album is fun, and I think that we can never lose sight of the fact that there’s a fun element to worship,” says Bethel Music worship leader / songwriter Jenn Johnson. “Yes, there’s a reverence and there’s an awe, but, we have this saying that God is as happy as He is holy, and I think that that’s what we want to champion our kids in – that God is so fun and He is so wonderful. Just seeing that in the kids, seeing the fun and the raw and the real, that they’re not going to be into any fluff – I think it’s just incredible to watch that unfold.”

Armand Hutton Scores GRAMMY® Nomination for Work with A Capella Group Committed
Dec 11, 2015 Artist Updates
Huttons arrangement of Committeds Do You Hear What I Hear from the album Home for Christmas (Mixed Bag Music Group, LLC) received a nod for Best Arrangement – Instrumental or A Capella. Committed won Season 2 of NBCs hit series, The Sing-Off!
(NASHVILLE, Tennessee) — Accomplished artist, writer, composer and label head Armand Hutton has received his first GRAMMY® nomination for Best Arrangement Instrumental or A Capella. The Recording Academy selected Huttons arrangement of Committeds Do You Hear What I Hear from the album Home for Christmas (Mixed Bag Music Group, LLC) for the honor. This is also the first GRAMMY® nomination for a capella group Committed, who won Season 2 of NBCs hit series The Sing-Off!
From childhood, Hutton performed on stages around the world accompanying his mother Noelette Leader – a professional gospel singer. In 2003, Hutton joined Hidden Beach Recordings vocal group Naturally 7 as their bass singer. The group toured worldwide, performing with Quincy Jones, Coldplay, Ludacris, David Foster, Jamie Foxx and others. But contemporary audiences may know them best as the opening act for Michael Bublé for the past 6 years. Bublé has featured the group on four of his albums as well as on numerous national TV appearances including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ellen, TODAY, Tavis Smiley, CNN, Live with Kelly & Michael and more. Hutton departed the group at the end of 2014 to form his own label, Hutton Records.
Hutton Records will provide an avenue for artists who may not otherwise have the opportunity to be heard, but whose music touches peoples souls, says Hutton. I have modeled Hutton Records after the legendary Motown and Stax labels of the 60s and 70s. Their music spoke for the people and both labels became a symbol not only for their surrounding communities, but became the voice of African-American culture.
Hutton has composed, written and arranged for numerous artists including Michael Bublé, Committed and Naturally 7, who landed the Top 10 hit Need You With Me on Billboards Smooth Jazz Chart.
In addition to music, Hutton has produced two audio books: Group Harmony: The Black Urban Roots of Rhythm and Blues and The Emasculation of the American Negro – both of which are available on iTunes and Audible.com.
The 58th GRAMMY® Awards will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

BIG DADDY WEAVE LANDS FIRST NUMBER ONE RADIO SINGLE FROM NEW ALBUM, BEAUTIFUL OFFERINGS
Dec 8, 2015 Artist Updates
“My Story” Marks Big Daddy Weave’s Ninth Overall Career Radio Number One
Nashville, Tenn. (December 7, 2015) – Big Daddy Weave has landed their first radio number one from the band’s new album, 2015’s Beautiful Offerings, with “My Story” going number one at seven different charts today, including Nielsen BDS’ NCA Monitored and AC Monitored, as well as Mediabase’s Christian AC Published, among others. “My Story” was co-written by Big Daddy Weave’s Mike Weaver and GRAMMY®-nominated songwriter Jason Ingram. Watch the official “My Story” music video here.
The Dove Award-winning Big Daddy Weave is currently on a five-for-five number one streak at radio, dating back to 2012, when “Love Come To Life” reached number one, followed in order by: “Redeemed,” “The Only Name (Yours Will Be),” and “Overwhelmed.” “Redeemed” went on to be certified Gold by the RIAA.
The song, “My Story,” came from a transformational time in Big Daddy Weave’s story. As were all of the songs on Beautiful Offerings, “My Story” was especially a result of nightly conversations the band members had following the ministry time at the end of each Big Daddy Weave performance. What has developed into an integral and life-changing portion of a Big Daddy Weave concert, the ministry time is an intentional time of dedicated dialogue and one-on-one prayer with the people who attend their concerts. The band has seen God work in powerful ways in the lives of people across the country.
“If I told you my story, you’d see hope, you’d see love, you’d see victory, all these things, but it’s not mine,” shares Mike Weaver. “My story is really the story of what God has done in our lives, and the goodness of that is that it awakens things in other people. Our story is really just part of His story.”
About Big Daddy Weave
Big Daddy Weave is one of the top artists in Christian music: they are one of the genre’s biggest headlining artists, the second most played artist at Christian AC-Monitored radio in 2014 and the recipient of multiple industry awards and nominations, including: Dove Awards, K-LOVE Fan Awards, Billboard Music Awards and ASCAP Awards. Between 2012 and 2015, Big Daddy Weave has achieved five straight No. 1 singles at radio, the most recent being “My Story” from the 9/18/15 album, Beautiful Offerings, and the previous four from the band’s career best-selling album, Love Come To Life. “Redeemed” was certified gold by the RIAA in 2015. Big Daddy Weave has career album sales of more than one million units. Formed in 2002, Big Daddy Weave is: Mike Weaver, Jay Weaver, Jeremy Redmon, Joe Shirk and Brian Beihl. POINT OF GRACE RECEIVES THIRD CAREER GRAMMY® NOMINATION
Dec 8, 2015 Artist Updates
FOR THEIR ALBUM, DIRECTIONS HOME (SONGS WE LOVE, SONGS YOU KNOW),
ON THE EVE OF THE GROUP’S TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY YEAR
Album, Co-Produced by Point of Grace and Andy Leftwich, Nominated in the Category Best Roots Gospel Album
Nashville, Tenn. (December 7, 2015) – One of the most successful and endearing artists in the history of Christian music, Point of Grace, has added to its long list of accolades with today’s announcement of the trio’s third career GRAMMY® nomination. The multi-platinum group’s April 7, 2015 release, Directions Home (Songs We Love, Songs You Know), is nominated in the category of Best Roots Gospel Album (Category 40). Point of Grace has career sales of over 8 million albums, alongside 27 No. 1 songs at radio, 24 of which were consecutive.
“We are so honored and excited to be nominated for a GRAMMY this year in the Roots Gospel Album category!” shared Point of Grace’s Shelley Breen. “We really have to credit Andy Leftwich for co-producing something we are incredibly proud of. This is our third nomination over the course of our 25 year career – we haven’t had a win yet – here’s hoping the third time’s a charm!”
Directions Home is the first album Point of Grace co-produced, alongside Andy Leftwich, who is also Ricky Skaggs’ fiddle player and a member of the GRAMMY® Award-winning ensemble, Kentucky Thunder.
It is also the group’s first album primarily comprised of cover songs, including well-known hits like Carrie Underwood’s “Something in the Water,” Phillip Phillips’ “Home” and Trace Adkins’ “You’re Gonna Miss This,” among others. Special appearances by superstars Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs further set this album apart from many of their previous projects, while widening their reach into the country music world.
“Directions Home has so many layers of meaning for us,” shares Shelley Breen. “It represents our past, where we are now, and most importantly, where we are ultimately going – home. Our hope for this project is that people will find encouragement in the lyrics, that they will feel emotions that will bring them great memories and a touch of nostalgia, but the higher purpose of everything on this record is to point listeners to the cross of Christ, which is the only way to truly find our way home.”
