Fellowship Creative’s New Album Eclipsed Releases Today

Nashville, Tenn. (January 29, 2016) — Fellowship Creative is a movement of artists emerging from and revolving around Fellowship Church (Grapevine, TX.), and they make music because they believe it reaches people in a way nothing else can. Their aim is to spread hope with their latest release Eclipsed. Available today, the album helps tell the story of what God has done and is doing in the lives of people at Fellowship Church.

“This album was really written through a lot of darkness,” Fellowship Creative leader Derric Bonnot says. “Situations either we were dealing with or people in our church were dealing with…But one thing God is always teaching us is that so often in the darkness, the light shines the brightest. And so, something we’ve been encouraging our church with as we’ve been introducing these songs is no matter what is going on in your life, you put it face to face against Jesus, He will eclipse it every time.”

“Stars,” one of Bonnot’s favorite tracks on the album, was inspired by personal loss as he and his wife experienced a miscarriage. Check out the official video for “Stars” below.

Zealand Worship Shares Organic Collection Of Songs

Helmed By Phil Joel, Zealand Worship Shares Organic Collection Of Songs With Release Of Zealand Worship The EP

Band treks U.S. and Canada in support of newest music

Nashville, Tenn. (January 29, 2016) – Zealand Worship, led by long-time Newsboys bassist and vocalist Phil Joel, has unveiled new music with Word Worship, a division of Word Entertainment, bearing the name Zealand Worship The EP. Among the songs featured on the EP is “Good Good Father,” making it the first major label release of the now popular song.
After Joel’s departure from 13 years with the multi-platinum selling Newsboys, ministry opportunities began to emerge throughout the United States, New Zealand, Australia and China. Joel and fellow musicians, all who have been part of successful bands, have been operating organically “off the grid,” going where they have felt led, under the radar and outside of the spotlight. It’s been a season of growth and preparation for the next chapter, which is aptly entitled Zealand Worship.

Much of Zealand Worship’s time on the road has been spent delivering truth in an electric live worship experience to a youth audience at a critical & impactful time in their lives. Consciously choosing not to embrace social media as part of their promotion, the band hopes to engage with people in genuine experience and desires to be a part of the ongoing conversation of social media’s effects on preventing us from being relevant, awake and alive.

“I’m from New Zealand but the name isn’t about a country; it’s a state – a state of being zealous for the ‘land’ God has for each one of us, starting with our relationship with Him,” shares Joel. “Leading worship from within this band has been the freshest and most invigorating ministry opportunity I’ve ever been a part of. Hopefully we can be a part of a fire- starter movement of worship that goes beyond the sparks of a corporate worship moment to where people experience and enjoy God everyday.”

Joining forces with MercyMe, LifeLight and more, Zealand Worship will spend much of 2016 on tour. To view the latest tour schedule, click here. Lifeway currently has an exclusive sale on Zealand Worship The EP, allowing listeners to purchase the album for only $5.

Zealand Worship The EP is available on all DSP’s and streaming services, including iTunes and Spotify.

About Zealand Worship:
The journey to Zealand Worship has been a wild and adventurous one that no one anticipated. Led by Phil Joel, best known for his long-standing role as bass player and vocalist for the multi-platinum selling band Newsboys, Zealand Worship has been faithfully traversing a road that has been as unscripted and unexpected as it has been ordained. When Joel left Newsboys after 13 years, it wasn’t long before ministry opportunities began to emerge throughout the United States, New Zealand, Australia and China. Without even realizing it, Joel’s perspective began to shift, opening his eyes to a new understanding about worship and his role in it. Joel and fellow musicians, all who have been part of successful bands, have been operating “off the grid,” ministering where they have been invited, under the radar in a season of preparation for the next chapter, which is aptly titled Zealand Worship. The band isn’t defining their music or their success by numbers or sales, but in a lasting experience that people can continue to live out in their everyday lives, long after the worship experience has ended. Zealand Worship signed with Word Worship, a division of Word Entertainment, in May 2015. Zealand Worship The EP is available now.

Civil War Film “Union Bound” Gets New Release Date

Originally scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on February 12th, “Union Bound” has been pushed back to April 22nd to accommodate more theaters following early screening buzz.

(LOS ANGELES, CA)
— The release date for Civil War film Union Bound has been pushed back to April 22nd following positive buzz generated from early screenings. The inspiring film from Uptone Pictures, Moving Box Entertainment and Weathervane Productions and distributed by Hannover House/Medallion Releasing/Universal, is based on the actual diaries of Joseph Hoover, an unlikely survivor of the Underground Railroad.

Union Bound stars Sean Stone (son of famed director Oliver Stone) as real life soldier Joseph Hoover, who receives the help of freed slaves on his journey back to the Union. Directed by Harvey Lowry, Union Bound stars Sean Stone (JFK, Nixon, The Doors), Tank Jones (The Deadliest Gun, Breaking Bad), Randy Wayne (To Save a Life; The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning), Trish Cook (Dude, Where’s My Dog?), Issac C. Singleton (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) and Christian Fortune (New Years Eve). Drew Seeley (High School Musical) also makes a cameo and Wynonna Judd’s husband Cactus Moser (Wynonna & the Big Noise; Highway 101) recorded the theme song and makes an appearance as a wounded soldier.

“This is an amazing true story, more than 150 years in the making,” said producer Michael Davis. “At a time when there is so much racial division, Union Bound tells the story of three men of different races, different backgrounds and different perspectives, united by a common purpose and fighting together for freedom.”

A companion book (WND Books, ISBN: 9781944229252, Paperback, $16.95, 5.5 x 8.25, 272 pages) will be in stores on May 2, 2016.

CONSUMED BY FIRE PREPARES TO UNLEASH FULL-LENGTH ALBUM, GIVING OVER ON MARCH 25

“Lean On Me” Featured in New Hallmark Original Movie
The Ultimate Legacy, Set to Premiere January 31
Los Angeles, Calif. (Jan. 26, 2016)—As a follow up to their celebrated EP Lean On Me, released last year, rising artist Consumed By Fire is excited to reveal its debut full-length album with Inpop Records titled Giving Over on March 25.

Music listeners are being introduced to the Ward brothers, Caleb (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Josh (Guitar, Harmony Vocals) and Jordan (Drums, Harmony Vocals), through their rising hit single “Lean On Me.” The song is quickly becoming a fan favorite as it climbs the charts attracting listeners of all ages. Additionally, the single can be heard in Hallmark’s original movie The Ultimate Legacy set to premiere on January 31 at 9pm EDT.

“We are extremely excited about this band,” shares Mark Lusk, President of Inpop Records. “With the immense nearly immediate success of their debut single and now it being featured in The Ultimate Legacy, we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of Consumed By Fire’s journey. They are a group of strong brothers with a passionate heart for God and His people. We believe this album will truly encourage listeners and become a staple in their music collection.”

With a theme of ultimate surrender, the band’s lyrics were inspired from personal experiences that challenged them to cast aside their own fears and plans and give into the path God paved for them.

“Even when you don’t feel like it, that gift and that calling isn’t going anywhere so we’ve learned to just surrender to it, give over to it,” explains frontman Caleb Ward, the youngest sibling.

Discovered by producer Scotty Wilbanks via YouTube, together they developed 11 tracks that showcase the brothers’ church roots combined with their varied musical influences that are also anchored lyrically in the deep faith that fuels them, giving them a sound that is uniquely their own.

Together, their goal is to continue spreading the gospel through honest, authentic music.

“There’s the struggle in this record, and there’s victory at the same time,” Jordan shares. “You’re not just left in the valley. We do talk about the mountain too. We’re just being honest and saying, ‘Yeah, we’ve been both places.’ And we’re moving on and moving forward.”

WORSHIP LEADER SHELLY E. JOHNSON RELEASES NEW EP

WORSHIP LEADER SHELLY E. JOHNSON RELEASES NEW EP

‘Measureless’ Features Five New Worship Songs By ‘Power of the Cross’ Singer/Songwriter

Measureless - Shelly E Johnson - CD Cover

January 22, 2016 (Springdale, Ark.) – Lifeway Worship’s 2012 Songwriter of the Year and nationally known worship leader Shelly E. Johnson is releasing her new EP, “Measureless,” today. “Loved Me First,” the first single off the project, is currently playing at Christian radio.

“There is nothing in this world that has helped me begin to grasp the measureless love of God like becoming a mom,” Johnson says. “Over the past several years, I have released quite a bit of music. But I have never been more excited about a batch of songs than I am about these. The overarching theme of this project is the unfathomable depth of God’s love for us. It is because of that love that our response back to Him is nothing less than unbridled worship and gratitude. My hope is that through this music others will begin to taste the goodness of His love, for that truly changes everything.”

In addition to “Loved Me First,” the EP features “Jesus The Anthem,” “From Heaven’s Glory,” “One and Only God” and the title track. Sean Hill at Uphill Studios produced the EP, which is being released by Lifeway Worship in partnership with Shelly E. Johnson Music.

Known for writing the powerful worship anthem “Power of the Cross”, which has been recorded by Natalie Grant, Steve Green and is being used in churches worldwide, Johnson has served as worship leader alongside Beth Moore, Tony Nolan, Andy Stanley, and toured North America with renowned Irish hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty.

After graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., in 2007, Johnson’s songs began to gain the attention of the Christian music industry, as “Power of the Cross” was awarded Song of the Year by the Gospel Music Association at the 2008 Music In The Rockies Conference.

Johnson’s first independent album “Mosaic of Grace” was released in 2009, which led the singer/songwriter to sign her first publishing and recording deal with LifeWay Worship in February 2011. In August 2012, her debut EP, “Power of the Cross,” was released in partnership with Maranatha! Music, with the lead off single “All Things Beautiful” impacting Christian radio formats.

As God continued opening more doors nationwide for Johnson to minister through her music, her full-length worship album “Your Kingdom Come” was released worldwide in September 2014 in partnership with LifeWay Worship and Elevate Entertainment.

Nashville, Tenn. (January 20, 2016) —- JJ Weeks Band is scheduled to release its debut album for Centricity Music, As Long As We Can BreatheApril 8th. The highly anticipated project was produced by Jonathan Smith (Sidewalk Prophets, Tim Timmons) and features six new songs co-written by frontman Weeks (“Let Them See You”). The album also includes four tunes penned by notable songwriters in the industry, including the first single “Alive In Me,” co-written by Seth Mosley, Mia Fieldes and Jeremiah Carlson. While the music is new, the lyrics remain faithful to the ministry of the band….praising God and impacting audiences.

“Making a difference in people’s lives is why we really do this,” explains Weeks. “We can sing for two hours and it will not change anything, but God can move in a moment and change everything. That’s just how big our God is. Our central message remains, ‘Come to Jesus,’ because He loves us more than we can ever understand.”

As Long As We Can Breathe delivers strong mid-tempos with “Ahead Of Me” and “Jealous,” which was co-written by Mike Weaver (Big Daddy Weave), Jonathan Smith and Tony Wood. The softer ballads include “Love Showed Up,” “In The Name Of,” “Count Them All” and the single, “Alive In Me.” I may be hard pressed on every side/But I won’t be crushed, I’ll be alright/I may be doubting the place I’m in/But I know the ending/I know who wins/I may be down, but I’m not out/You’re not finished yet. “Rooftops” is another standout selection from the album with its powerful lyrics about the passion of Christ followers and the featured performance of hip-hop artist Tedashii, courtesy of Reach Records.

Matthew West’s Call To Action with “UNTOLD

AWARD-WINNING ARTIST AND SONGWRITER MATTHEW WEST SHARES A HEARTFELT CALL TO ACTION WITH “UNTOLD,” HIS NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Click on above image to view Matthew West’s “Untold” music video

20 January 2016
A letter from Matthew West:
“For years I’ve been using my platform of music encouraging people to realize how each one of our lives is a story in the making, and how each of our stories can have a great impact on the world. Sadly, we live in a world where many stories are ended before they even have the chance to begin.
I was reminded of this when asked to perform a benefit concert for a crisis pregnancy center in Dallas, Texas. While there, I was moved by the stories of how many lives had been saved by their work. Weeks later, I received a thank you letter from the organization and one sentence they wrote struck me. ‘We hope that you might someday feel inspired to tell the story of the unborn.’ That experience at the pregnancy center and their compelling request moved me to write ‘Untold.'”

But I wanted to go even deeper than just a song. I wanted to highlight some true stories that provide each one of us with a window inside the difficult choice many are faced with. My hope is that this song along with the stories and resources will be a positive and sincere voice offering people a greater understanding of the value of life and the hope each child should have for a future. I also pray it will serve to honor and inspire ministries, churches, organizations, and individuals who courageously share hope and life-affirming options to all those in need, along with forgiveness and compassion for those who seek it.
Why now? For many churches, the month of January is one where they focus on the sanctity of life. It’s also a time where we as a nation are reminded of the anniversary of the controversial Roe v. Wade case, which seems to thrust the topic of abortion into the spotlight each year.
I’ve found that music can be powerful and often times cuts through to the heart of the matter.
We see this as a way to approach a difficult topic in a sincere and heartfelt way, which is why I felt the time was now for a song like this to be heard.
Sincerely,
Matthew West
