PLUMB Preps to Resume Fall Leg of Big Daddy Weave’s Beautiful Offerings Tour, Launches Next Single “Smoke”

PLUMB Preps to Resume Fall Leg of Big Daddy Weave’s Beautiful Offerings Tour, Launches Next Single “Smoke”
Nashville, TN – After a fun family-focused summer, Curb Records artist PLUMB will be honored to re-join Big Daddy Weave on their Beautiful Offerings tour this fall, featuring new special guest We Are Messengers. The Beautiful Offerings tour kicks off August 18 in Watertown, SD.

Since the May 2015 release of EXHALE, PLUMB has been focused on sharing the album’s themes: reflecting a grateful heart, giving credit to God for the restoration of her marriage and sharing the hope that He alone can give. The format of The Beautiful Offerings tour matches the artist’s focus – to share personal stories of hope and thanksgiving and to offer an evening of worship.

Her new single “SMOKE,” which impacts radio on August 19, tells the story of God redeeming his people from anxiety, shame, and hurt. Plumb describes it as, “Whatever smoke you are trying to breathe that is not breathable, and whatever ash and soot you are standing in, and you feel worthless and drenched in regret, pain, sorrow and inability to move, let God use this song to free you right now.”

Her previous album – NEED YOU NOW – was a runaway success, and was heavily focused around the near loss and redemption of her marriage. Over the past two years, Plumb’s life theme has been “hope is oxygen”, explaining that hope keeps us alive when our lives are in turmoil. Now, EXHALE launches a new call to action, to exhale a message of hope to others who are hurting.

CITIZENS & SAINTS ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF THEIR NEW STUDIO ALBUM

CITIZENS & SAINTS ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF THEIR NEW STUDIO ALBUM, A MIRROR DIMLY, ON SEPTEMBER 16TH
This record wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the fall of Mars Hill as an organization. This is a concept album about our search for clarity.
SEATTLE, WASH. (July 06, 2016) Citizens & Saints announces the release of their third studio project, A Mirror Dimly, on September 16th (Gospel Song Records). This project follows the groups successful and widely received Join the Triumph (2014) and CITIZENS (2013). The album is a result of a difficult time for the group as they dealt with the downfall of the church organization they were associated with over the years – this project features the dichotomy of faith and doubt. Citizens & Saints wants to push the conversation and openly address the search for clarity.
“We all search for something to believe in, and A Mirror Dimly is a concept album about our search for clarity,” shares front man Zach Bolen. “Faith and doubt aren’t exclusive to Christian belief, but relative to the nature of the human heart. To doubt God is evidence of that nature, and doubt in one thing often prompts the belief in another. So in regards to the gospel, we have to first doubt our own ability to save ourselves (acknowledging our neediness) in order to believe (have faith) that God is our only way to salvation. To believe in God is evidence of a power at work that goes beyond the bounds of human nature.”

Citizens & Saints was birthed out of the Mars Hill Church where they led worship at one of the campuses. It was there that they witnessed a movement that would greatly impact them as individuals and as a group on their spiritual journey. Bolen shares how this specific project wouldn’t exist without the fall of the Mars Hills church.

“This record wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the fall of Mars Hill as an organization. One of the best days in the history of Seattle was the day Mars Hill shut it doors. While the brothers and sisters of that community may not meet all together in similar places anymore, the Church of Christ did not crumble and it certainly has not weakened because of it. We experienced the love of God through His presence and His people in ways we never had before. A Mirror Dimly is the result of both personal struggles, and conversations with those swimming in doubt post Mars Hill, yet inclusive enough to be a cathartic journey of listening and contemplation for any and all. We’re not the first people to go through hard stuff; we all suffer in different ways. There is hope beyond the foggy glass; the joys of being loved forever, free from the burdens of the wounds we all carry.”

Staying connected personally with their listeners, Citizens & Saints sent 500 fans a “flexi vinyl” of the new song “Relent” from the upcoming album. Fans then posted photos or videos of them listening to the new single on social media starting the excitement for A Mirror Dimly. The anticipation continued this week as they revealed “Madness,” the next single available via 1300 fans’ social media posts. Click below to check out the single. Since their last release, the group has increased their time on the road as they have played with Phil Wickham, John Mark McMillan, Beautiful Eulogy, Jon Foreman, Propaganda and more. This fall Citizens & Saints will be heading out with Kings Kaleidoscope – dates TBA soon.

ABOUT CITIZENS & SAINTS: Citizens & Saints are an alternative rock band with gospel roots based in Seattle, WA.  Founded in 2011, by Zach Bolen, Adam Skatula and Nathan Furtado. The group released their label debut CITIZENS in 2013 charting on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart (No. 6) and resulted in a radio single that Topped Air 1 network for 15 weeks. In 2014 they released their sophomore album Join The Triumph.

The Millennial Tour Closes 2016 with Successful Spring Dates

Mobile App and New Documentary Film with Apologetics Teachings to Launch in 2016 and 2017

New Orleans, La. (June 6, 2016) —- The Millennial Tour closed 2016 with very successful dates this spring that included stops in Myrtle Beach, SC, Harrisburg, PA, Normal, IL, Mobile, AL, Coweta, OK and three of the Hawaiian Islands. The tour had over 5,000 in attendance and over 120 Millennial age attendees making new commitments to Christ, along with over 250 pledging re-dedications to defend their faith at school and on college campuses.

The tour featured Pop-Dance artist and actress, Abigail Duhon; Pop/R&B artist and actor, Spencer Kane; Pop/Rock sister duo, LoveCollide; CHR Hip-Hop artist, Beacon Light; Urban R&B artist, Drew Allen, Billboard charting Pop Rock band, Bread of Stone, with video messages from God’s Not Dead author, Dr. Rice Broocks, and Director of The Human Right, Heath Adamson. Responses from the concert show the strong impact the tour is having with audience members saying, “really inspirational,” “strengthened my faith in God,” “new sense of reassurance in the Gospel,” “authentic artists with their testimonies.”

Launched in Spring 2015, The Millennial Tour was the concept of Executive Producer for both of the highly popular and record-breaking God’s Not Dead movies, Troy Duhon. The basis of the tour comes from 1Peter 3:15: But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

Due to the impact that the tour and films are having with Millennials, Duhon and Broocks just debuted a new God’s Not Dead mobile app in June at Creation Northeast, with additional presentations at the Sonshine Festival in July and Creation Northwest in August. The app features apologetics teachings that are easy and straightforward for the young teen markets, with basic skills on how to defend their faith.

Targeted for summer 2017, there will be another feature film in the God’s Not Dead series, but this production will be a documentary. It will feature some of the world’s leading scientists and apologetic authorities who will present undeniable facts about the proof of God’s existence.

“We recognize the dire need of Millennials to be equipped to defend their Christian beliefs in a society that is focused on science and atheism as the truth behind our existence,” explains Duhon. “The tour has been reaching Millennials through the Christian Festival Association in summer 2015 and the recent tour this spring, with a simple explanation around basic truths that apologetics can teach. In both instances, we introduced a concept called HIGH 5 that gives Millennials five easy talking points on a small card that covers the beginnings of our galaxy through the human right to know Jesus as Lord. The God’s Not Dead app takes the content even deeper where Millennials can easily read and watch apologetics content on their mobile phones. We need to equip these 13 – 20 year olds with the tools to protect their faith.”

Dr. Broocks adds, “Young people aren’t being prepared with the answers they need to sustain their faith in the hostile environment of several university settings. Real faith isn’t blind, it’s evidence-based. There’s an astounding amount of evidence that God’s not dead, and we need to make this information easily available to the Millennials.

God’s Not Dead2 released April 1, 2016 and had premieres in Los Angeles and Nashville, with many of the film’s stars attending that included Melissa Joan Hart, Jesse Metcalfe, Robin Givens, the late Fred Thompson, Newsboys, Abigail Duhon, Spencer Kane and Love Collide. The film continues the story in Hope Springs, when a teacher (Hart) has to go to court to defend her comments about Jesus in the classroom. The original movie, God’s Not Dead that released in 2014, created a national stir among atheists and Christians alike when the film’s direct approach to the question of an omnipotent God as creator of all things was based on real-life college situations facing Christian students. The film used several references from Broocks’ book of the same title.

LEELAND RELEASES FIRST NEW ALBUM IN 5 YEARS

LEELAND RELEASES FIRST NEW ALBUM IN 5 YEARS,

INVISIBLE, JULY 22 FROM BETHEL MUSIC

Leeland’s First Bethel Music Album Features First-Ever Co-Writes With

Brian Johnson, Darlene Zschech, Steffany Gretzinger

Multiple GRAMMY, Dove Award nominated Leeland internationally releases its fifth full-length album and first new album in nearly five years, Invisible, July 22 from Bethel Music and through Provident Distribution. The album also marks the first album since Leeland, consisting of Leeland Mooring and Casey Moore, joined the Bethel Music Artist Collective in 2015.

Leeland has been a creative presence in Christian music for a decade, contributing multiple well-known worship songs (“Tears of the Saints,” “Follow You,” “Count Me In,” etc.) to the global church.

For the new album, which was inspired by Philippians 3:12, Leeland takes a unique and intentional, yet light-hearted step into new territory. Co-writing for the first time on songs for the album with Brian Johnson, Darlene Zschech and Steffany Gretzinger, the jovial, pop-leaning production of Invisible wraps themes of identity, joy and freedom. The album also explores with energy and conviction new ways of expressing the simple gospel that Jesus has made a way for authentic relationship with his people.

“Jesus said that we are called to seek Him in the secret place,” says Leeland. “We can know God, encounter Him at church, in conferences, at concerts, but ultimately where we’re really going to meet Jesus face to face, be changed day by day, is in a personal, hidden relationship with Him. Our hope for you listening to Invisible is that some of these songs help push you into that secret place with Him, and that He begins to change every part of your life.”

The album’s title track was created following a revelation about the disciple, Thomas. “When Jesus showed up, showed him His hands, Thomas knew in that moment that Jesus was not invisible,” shares Casey. “There are moments in our walk with Him that are just like that, when we have an amazing, real encounter with God, and then there are times when He calls us to walk in faith. God sees you and knows you, and loves you where you are. You’re not invisible.”

As “Invisible” presents a fresh perspective toward one’s relationship with an unseen God, “Perfect Love,” co-written with Gretzinger, is centered around the story of the prodigal son, “Beloved,” co-written with Zschech, is about waiting on God in your circumstances and “Son was Lifted Up,” co-written with Brian Johnson, is a passionately crafted account of the cross in all its magnitude. Johnson also co-wrote the celebratory song, “Lion and the Lamb.”

Invisible is a unique record for us,” sums up Leeland. “This album is colorful, it’s bright in some parts and in others very dark. It’s a very dynamic and emotional record musically for us.”

The full Invisible track listing follows:
