Planetshakers Full-Length Christmas Album

PLANETSHAKERS BAND RELEASES

FIRST FULL-LENGTH CHRISTMAS ALBUM, IT’S CHRISTMAS, NOV. 29

Available For Preorder Now, Album Features Planetshakers’ Unique Interpretations Of Christmas Classics Alongside Original Songs

Planetshakers’ Album Rain

Lauded As “A Triumph” By Worship Leader Magazine

Internationally recognized praise band Planetshakers releases It’s Christmas Nov. 29 from Venture3Media (V3M). Available to preorder now at Apple Music, iTunes and Google Play and to stream on Spotify and more outlets globally when it releases, the album marks the first-ever full-length Christmas album from the band.

Combining Planetshakers’ unique musical interpretation of classic favorites alongside its original Christmas songs, the new album features worship leaders Joth Hunt, Sam Evans, Aimee Evans, BJ Pridham, Joshua Brown, Rudy Nikkerud, Chelsi Nikkerud and more.

Hunt also produced and wrote, co-wrote and/or arranged all of the songs on the album, including the highlighted David Foster and Carole Bayer Sayer-penned cover, “The Prayer (Italian Lyric Version).”

Other featured songs on the album include the lead track “Angels We Have Heard On High,” which has additional lyrics by Hunt embedded in a unique voice-layered pop mix, the title track and original song “It’s Christmas,” co-written by worship leader and pastor Sam Evans, and the brand new “All Glory.”

“I wanted to write a song from the perspective of the three wise men,” says Hunt regarding “All Glory.” “If you think about it, it’s pretty amazing that they followed a star and found Jesus in a manger. They came and worshiped him and brought him the best gifts that this world could offer. In this song, I have tried to capture the classic feel of Christmas, but also have a foundational element of worship. That’s what the wise men came to do; worship Jesus.”

It’s Christmas further includes Planetshakers’ joyful, pop and R&B-infused Christmas Vol 1 and 2 EP recordings of classics like “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Hark,” “Joy To The World,” “Silent Night” and “The First Noel,” as well as the declarative original “Light Of The World.”

“There are so many amazing Christmas carols out there, with such great lyrics and memorable melodies,” continues Hunt. “With this album, we have taken these traditional lyrics and melodies and given them a new sound by adding modern music and production. I have had so much fun producing this project and being creative. We have also written three original songs for the album… For us, this recording encapsulates what Christmas is all about; celebrating Jesus!”

The full It’s Christmas track listing follows:

1.  Angels We Have Heard On High

2. Joy To The World

3. It’s Christmas

4. The First Noel

5. Silent Night

6. All Glory

7. Hark

8. O Holy Night

9. The Prayer (Italian Lyric Version)

10. Light Of The World

11. O Come All Ye Faithful

Planetshakers also released its acclaimed, 15-track album Rain earlier this month (Sept. 6) amidst acclaim. Lauded as a musical “triumph” by Worship Leader magazine, the album’s lead track, “Only Way,” is a Billboard Christian Airplay Chart top 50 hit and has already seen over 1.8 million YouTube plays as Planetshakers’ YouTube channel subscribers went from 683,000 to over 919,000 since January 11.

During this same time period, the band’s Instagram followers grew from 481,000 to over 557,000 (not including individual band member followers) and Spotify monthly listeners went from 599,000 to over 769,000. JASON GRAY RELEASES “REMIND ME YOU’RE HERE” TODAY

A Prayer For God’s Presence During Suffering, Song Is First Single

From Disorder EP Set To Release Early Next Year

“Remind Me You’re Here” Goes To Radio Jan. 10

Centricity Music recording artist Jason Gray releases today (Nov. 15) the first single, “Remind Me You’re Here,” from Disorder, the second volume of his three-part album, Order Disorder Reorder. The song is available now at digital retail and streaming outlets globally through https://jasongray.lnk.to/remindmeyourehere, and goes for adds at radio beginning Jan. 10.

Where part one of his new album, Order, released amidst acclaim Aug. 16 and explores topics “when things are more or less going the way you hope,” Gray’s Disorder is set to release early next year and wrestles with when hopes are dashed.

“Disorder is when our plan falls apart; when we find we weren’t as in control as we thought we were,” says Gray. “Reminded of our vulnerability, we are broken down and opened up enough to meet with God in a profound way.

“We think we want answers when the catastrophes of life hit, but the story of Job reminds us that an answer isn’t always what we need or even desire the most,” continues Gray. “Answers rarely—if ever—bring healing. Rather, to experience the presence of God in the midst of our suffering is very healing. Our questions burn away like fog at sunrise and in their place comes the deep sense that we are held.”

I won’t ask you for reasons

Cause reason can’t wipe away tears

No, I don’t need all the answers

Just be here beside me

Father remind me You’re here

(From the “Remind Me You’re Here” chorus)

The cascading release of Order Disorder Reorder has been divided into three parts “to give time and space to reflect on one part of the journey before digging into the next,” Gray says. Disorder and Reorder EP releases will be announced in the New Year.

Playing “Remind Me You’re Here,” the radio hit “I’m Gonna Let It Go” featured on the five-song Order EP, and more fan favorites while on tour, Gray wrapped up a national tour with Citizen Way and The Young Escape and continues to tour, performing eight events in four states before Christmas.

Listeners can also hear the singer-songwriter on SiriusXM The Message’s program Acoustic Storytime. Named after his live album released in 2008, Gray serves as the host of this monthly writer’s-round radio show sponsored by Compassion LIVE and featuring performances from Christian artists recorded at The Well Coffeehouse in Nashville (Brentwood, TN). Episodes so far have included Brandon Heath, Sanctus Real, Tenth Avenue North, Marc Martel, Clay Finnesand (North Point Worship), Jonny Diaz, Ryan Stevenson, Rhett Walker and more.

NEW VIDEO OUT TODAY FROM CHRISTIAN RAPPER G.L.O

Video for the Single “Jericho” Debuts across Social Media
November 13, 2019 (Springdale, Arkansas) – An emotional new video from Christian rap artist G.L.O for the single “Jericho” debuts today on YouTube and Facebook. The song is from “Reborn,” the current album release from G.L.O, which stands for God’s Love Only. “’Jericho’ is a song that reflects Joshua 6:1-21, which is a reminder as Christ Followers that spiritual warfare is real and can be tough!,” says G.L.O. “Throughout the song, I share my own personal fears and struggles that I’ve allowed the enemy to build in my heart. However, the Holy Spirit reminds me that God is Infinite and He is forever with me. Yes, spiritual warfare is real, but we can be encouraged in knowing that, just like in the days of Joshua, we have to persevere and trust in God that the walls will soon come crashing down.” G.L.O is building a reputation for releasing powerful, edgy videos. In the video for “Jericho,” the Christian rapper is surrounded by walls, while she battles her own thoughts. What she doesn’t realize is that God has sent an angel to aid in the battle. “Little by little, the walls begin to fall,” G.L.O says. “Not by my own strength, but as I continue to trust in God, I’m able to stand in victory on the very thing that had me bound.” “Jericho,” written by Kim Denise Ruiz, who goes by the stage name of G.L.O, and produced by Alex “Ace One” Espinoza, is part of an 11-song collection available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify and all other digital stores and music streaming services. “Reborn,” the title track and first single from the album, debuted at No. 1 on CRC Weekly and No. 2 on CRC Monthly. The song ranked No. 7 on the CRC Quarterly chart for the third quarter of 2019. “’Reborn’ is an album of uncompromised, Scriptural-based lyrics alongside R&B, rock and hip hop melodies,” G.L.O says. “My mission with this project is to reach the lost, encourage the saints and to prepare others for battle, which is why I grace the cover of my album wearing warrior attire.” Music has been important to G.L.O since she was young. When she received Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1998, she asked God to reveal her purpose. As she began writing songs, the songwriter noticed that none of her songs glorified God. “That all changed one fateful day,” G.L.O says, “when God had a Word for me in Bible Study: ‘You can’t have one foot in the world and one foot out.’ After receiving that message, it was the breakthrough I needed. I haven’t looked back.” With a ministry that knows no boundaries and one that reaches the young and the old, G.L.O’s prayer is that her music can break down the misconception that rap is only of the world. G.L.O has appeared on local TBN networks as well as UK London International TBN. She has performed onstage at the Gospel Superfest where she shared the platform with artists such as Deitrick Haddon, Lecrae, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and others. She has enjoyed radio airplay from U.S. and international radio outlets. In June 2019, G.L.O signed with McLaughlin Music Group for management.
