JJ WEEKS “SOUND OF FREEDOM FB LIVE” CONCERT SET MARCH 22

Following Winter Jam Tour Cancellation Due To Coronavirus Pandemic,

Weeks’ Facebook Live Event Offers Evening Of Music, Worship, Encouragement

4,000 Children Rescued From Poverty Through Holt International During Winter Jam

Renowned, Macon, GA-based singer-songwriter JJ Weeks and his band will hold a “Sound of Freedom FB Live” concert this Sunday, March 22, beginning at 7:00 pm EDT / 4:00 pm PDT. The event will be streamed live at Facebook.com/jjweeksmusic and feature acoustic performances of new music from Weeks’ The Sound Of Freedom EP released last month along with songs of worship and classics from his growing catalog of fan favorites.

Donations will be accepted during the event to benefit JJ Weeks Ministries through Ignite Outreach along with a special artist fund that Weeks is building to be able to assist other Christian artists being impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

“In the midst of the chaos of this pandemic, I hold fast to the promises and faithfulness of God!” exclaims Weeks. “We aren’t able to host in person concerts right now, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t gather online for worship and encouragement. God is faithful, and I choose worship over fear!”

Along with the music, Weeks will be sharing an update during the Facebook Live event on Holt International and how children are being impacted by the pandemic. Prior to this event, Weeks shared the mission and vision of this leading adoption agency and sang for hundreds-of-thousands of people on the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular in 31 arenas before the tour was cancelled this month.

During the Winter Jam event, attendees sponsored over 4,000 children, rescuing them from poverty through Holt International, which is dedicated to carrying out God’s plan for every child to have a permanent, loving home through family preservation, in-country adoption and international adoption.

Known for writing and leading hit-making songs like “Let Them See You,” “Alive In Me,” “What Kind Of Love” and “Do Not Be Afraid,” Weeks’ newest music from The Sound of Freedom EP features the radio singles “Choices,” “Days Like These” and “The Sound of Freedom.” The title track video was also premiered this week by CCM at https://www.ccmmagazine.com/features/exclusive-video-premiere-jj-weeks-the-sound-of-freedom/.

“Freedom comes out differently for everyone, but it is unmistakable when every chain hits the floor,” says Weeks regarding “The Sound of Freedom.” “Imagine standing guilty in front of judge and jury and your sins, condemnation, temptations, hopelessness, depression, not feeling like you’re enough, fear and whatever you may be dealing with is all laid out for everyone to see. Then, with one word coming from the corner of the room, it all vanishes because the King says, ‘That’s my child.’ That’s the freedom I’m talking about in this song!”

Co-written and produced by GRAMMY-nominated, two-time Dove Award-winning “Producer of the Year” Ian Eskelin, “The Sound of Freedom” has been heard nationally on radio stations like KYCC (Stockton, CA), WNFR (Flint, MI), WLJN (Traverse City, MI), WCTL (Erie, PA), KCVO (Columbia, MO) and WJTL (Lancaster, PA).

JASON GRAY RELEASES REMARKABLY TIMELY DISORDER EP TODAY

JASON GRAY RELEASES REMARKABLY TIMELY DISORDER EP TODAY

EP’s First Single, “Remind Me You’re Here,”

Is Prayer For God’s Presence During Suffering

“Disorder is when our order falls apart—maybe through a relationship that breaks down, or a job loss, or even a global pandemic” – Jason Gray

Centricity Music recording artist Jason Gray releases today (March 20) Disorder, the second volume of his three-part album, Order Disorder Reorder. The six-song EP is available now at digital retail and streaming outlets globally through https://jasongray.lnk.to/disorder, and features the Top 25 Billboard AC Indicator chart hit single “Remind Me You’re Here.”

Where part one of his new album, Order, released amidst acclaim Aug. 16, features the radio hit “I’m Gonna Let It Go” and explores topics “when things are more or less going the way you hope,” Gray’s Disorder is a group of honest, transformative songs about when order falls apart.

“I’ve believed the themes of Order Disorder Reorder were relevant and hoped that releasing the record in three parts over the course of a year would be meaningful, but who could’ve predicted the release date for Disorder that we decided six months ago would end up being so relevant,” questions Gray, “the very week our whole world is upended by a microscopic virus that is casting a tall shadow over all that we care about?

“If there’s anything we’ve learned over the last week, it’s that life will bring some storms that we just can’t hide from,” continues Gray. “Sometimes the only way out is through. But as a person of faith, I believe that we don’t face it alone.

I see the trouble standing before me

Like a mountain, it’s like a mountain

My spirit trembles under its shadow

I can’t escape it, Lord help me face it…

I need You to lead me through

Walking before me, behind and beside me

I’m following You

The only way out is if You lead me through…

(Lyrics from the EP’s opening track, “Through”)

“I wrote the songs of Disorder hoping they could serve as handrails for people to hold on to in the storms of life, to help steady them as they walk through their difficulty on their way to renewal on the other side. And though it can be scary and painful, disorder is so often where we meet with God most profoundly and where he usually gets his best work done in us…”

These transformative songs on Disorder set the stage for the Reorder EP set to release later this year, when “we’ve all gone through hardships and came out the other side as wiser, stronger, more humble and compassionate versions of ourselves.”

JUSTIN RIZZO RELEASES FIRST FULL-LENGTH ALBUM IN SEVEN YEARS, LOVE SO FIERCE, VIA SPOTLIGHT MUSIC GROUP

Acclaimed worship leader Justin Rizzo releases his first full-length album in seven years, Love So Fierce, today (March 20) from Spotlight Music Group. The 13-track recording is available now at Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Pandora and additional digital and streaming outlets globally.

Rizzo’s new album includes the songs from his Paid It All EP released in January and Worship And Adore EP released in February along with five more songs of worship: “Meet With Us,” “Eternal Love Is Your Name,” “All I’m Wanting,” “Live And Breathe” and “See His Love.”

“God has a fierce commitment to have all of our love, while at the same time having the tender heart of a bridegroom to continue winning our hearts and taking us back when we stumble in weakness,” says Rizzo explaining the impetus behind his new album. “Part of the beautiful mystery of our faith is that we serve, love, and have given our lives to a God whose love is fierce, like a man of war, but at the same time is as tender as a man in love. This should evoke worship in our hearts.

“This title song came out of a set where me and my team were spontaneously singing through Song of Solomon chapter 8 verse 6 where it says that God’s love is as strong as death, and his jealousy is as fierce as the grave,” continues Rizzo. “The chorus of the song says:  I’ve never known a love so fierce, I’ve never known a love so tender, I’ve never known a love that suffers long, with me.

The full Love So Fierce track listing follows:

01)  Meet With Us

02)  Fingerprints

03)  Worship And Adore

GRACE WORSHIP RELEASES “CALVARY’S ANTHEM”

Generational, Genre-Blending Second Single Is From

Debut EP Christ Be All Releasing April 24

Worship Musician Premieres “Calvary’s Anthem” Video

Pairing theologically rich lyrics with soaring melodies, Peoria, Illinois-based Grace Worship incorporates both classical and pop influences for its recording of “Calvary’s Anthem” that releases today (March 20). Available at digital and streaming outlets globally, this is the second single from this worship team’s debut Christ Be All EP available to preorder now from Grace Worship / The Fuel Music.

Drawing on its 150-year church history (Grace Presbyterian Church) to bring a multi-generational focus to Christ Be All, the EP is centered on Jesus’ prayer in John 17 for the body to be “one” and honors the rich heritage of Christian hymnody while incorporating modern anthemic choruses and pop hooks.

This unique blend, reaching across generations and music genres, is especially captured well in “Calvary’s Anthem.” The new single features lyrics from Robert Lowery’s classic hymn, “Nothing But the Blood,” along with verse lyrics to accompany its traditional Appalachian melody by Grace Presbyterian Church pastor Dr. Bryan Chapell. Additional melody, chorus and bridge is supplied by worship director Kevin King, who also sings the song and orchestrated the piece.

“With brilliant brass, sensitive strings and a powerful band, this track centers on Christ’s interceding work on the cross that causes hell’s hold to cease and frees us to a life of joyful worship,” says King.

With Worship Musician premiering the “Calvary’s Anthem” video this week, King also wrote and leads the EP’s title track and “Christ Be All (Live)” video that was premiered by Worship Leader. The title song incorporates words from Andrew Murray’s classic book, Humility, and is meant to help worshippers express, along with the Apostle Paul, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me” (Galatians 2:20) as they sing, “May Christ be all and I be nothing.”

All the latest Grace Worship music news and more can be found at www.graceworship.com, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

About Grace Worship:

Before Jesus went to the cross, He prayed that His church would be one (John 17). Grace Worship desires to write and share songs that advance this mission through theologically rich and creatively beautiful art. By pulling from the heritage of Christian hymnody and integrating the church songs of today, the worship team hopes to make much of Jesus’ unifying mission through music that equips the church for worship across generations.
