Victoria - What is the meaning of [the name] gs megaphone?
Randy - It's based on a phrase, a God sized message needs a God sized megaphone.
Victoria - You have a new release called "Beautiful World," what can fans expect?
Randy - Beautiful world, we think, is a great improvement on our last album. [It is] hard rock music, very melodic, and it has in it a lot of unique instruments. Things that give it more of a world sound that we haven't heard in past, but it's still straight forward rock. It does have a lot of influence from Eastern world music.

This is one of my favorite CD's that I picked up at Lifest this year, mostly because of it's unique power rock sound. "Beautiful World" sounds like the early days of grunge or progressive rock. The vocalist are a cross between Soundgarden and Nirvana. The eastern tones also make it a particularly interesting CD.
Additionally the message on "Beautiful World" is uncompromising and overtly Christian. It's not dull and average but powerful and convicting. Being able to deliver such a strong message is never easy, but gs has done an outstanding job presenting their passion.
