If the Freedom Blast tour is going to be in a location near you GO to this concert. You get to see six artists for $6.00! Hosted by 4Him the tour also includes FFH, Wayne Watson, Nicole Smith, The Darins, and Ben Glover. The idea of this tour is to offer a variety of musicians for a low price and to reach out to people wouldn't normally come to a Christian concert. It's really an outreach to those who wouldn't be able to afford the typical ticket prince of concerts or to those who have never heard of CCM. It's a great opportunity for a Christian to invite his neighbor, a family member, or coworker to hear great talent with a positive message. Also, this tour introduces new artist and gives them a chance to perform.
22 year old Ben Glover opened the evening, the completion of his debut album is still in the works. FFH offered uplifting harmonies. This band has had nine albums. "I Want to be Like You" is the number one single, in fact this band has had the highest charting single in the history of Christian radio. The Darins, Kristin, Stacy, Rachelle, and Heather moved the audience on their feet with an "urban" beat. Grammy nominated, Dove Award winning, Wayne Watson (20 years in Christian Music) marveled the audience with "Almighty, and "For Such a Time as This". It happened to be his 50th birthday, although he looks nearly 30! 4Him lead the audience in "Happy Birthday" since Wayne was away from home. 4Him has had twenty #1 songs and six Dove awards. 4Him has been around for a long time and their experience shined through on stage.
A love offering was taken to help cover the cost of 31 people and 2 tractor trailers traveling from state to state. During the offering all 19 musicians were on stage and led in praise songs like "Shout to the Lord". At the end all the artist joined again on stage to share in songs and the way to Salvation. All ages will enjoy this concert.
