Who Are We?

CeCe
Cece Winans
Wellspring Gospel

Before you listen to Cece Winans' latest effort you have to understand where she is coming from. Cece has high hopes of reaching the world through her music, and this doesn't appear to be just a "bold" statement. Cece backs it up with thirteen diverise tracks that range from pop, R & B, urban, contemporary, inspirational, and Gospel.

Produced cooperatively between Tommy Sims (The Neville Brothers, Newsboys, Michael Bolton, Taylor Dayne) and Brown Banister (Avalon, Amy Grant, Steve Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith) this project has everything from attitude to love. From "Out My House," which is a stand-up knock-down punch at the Devil, to "It's Gonna Get Better." The latter is a powerful message that CeCe wrote in response to a rise in child suicides. CeCe stated, "'It's Gonna Get Better'" is a very special song and I'm praying the anointing of God upon it, that it will save lives."

This CD is pretty amazing if you consider all that is going on in CeCe's life. She's created a non-profit organization, "Sharing The Vision", and she is the spokesperson for K-Mart's "Share The Word", which encourages reading and awareness of Black History. Currently Cece has been screening materials and artists for her entertainment company Wellspring Entertainment. Additionally, and most importantly, is her responsibility as a mother and wife. CeCe has certainly been an inspiration to many.

"I think she is the greatest singer of all times. Not just her vocal talent, but the way she delivers a song. She delivers with such passion and she is an anointed singer and there are things that you cannot even describe about the way she delivers a song. It is just passionate and powerful."
