In the Bible (Mark 1:17), Jesus said to Simon and Andrew, "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." A trio from the land of 14,000 lakes (Minnesota) has tried to follow His call in their personal lives as well as their music. Enter the name, "Go Fish." Formerly an independent a capella group, they have now signed with Inpop Records for a debut release of their new style, acoustic pop. The album titled, "Infectious," is a leap to the next level for this group. The instrumental accompaniment is tastefully in tune with their flamboyant style, garnished with superb harmonies and melodies. The lyrics are spiritually rich, especially in the song, "Watch Me Go," which poetically describes one's desire to give it all up to Him and follow His plan. A sure hit to listen for is album opener, "I See You." This vocally talented group is going places. Step aside boy bands, let's "Go Fish!" -Bridget K. |
