I don't feel qualified to critique such an album of this caliber. I honestly know very little about Keith Green's past, but I'm very aware of the impact his music and words have today. I've personally felt the encouragement and conviction of his words in "A Cry In The Wilderness," a book released by Sparrow Press.

Sparrow has put together some of the most influential worship artists of our time to honor the music of Keith. Worship leaders such as Jason Upton, Charlie Hall and Chris Tomlin join with first class performers like Michael W. Smith, Darlene Zschech, Michelle Tumes, Twila Paris, and Rebecca St. James, and joined with even more amazing writers Joanne Hogg, Paul Oakley, Matt Redman, and Sarah Sadler.

"There Is One," is a highlight of the project. It is an unfinished Keith Green song performed by Michael W. Smith and completed writing by Martin Smith. Michelle Tumes does a beautiful job on "There Is A Redeemer," and newcomer Jason Upton quietly but powerfully covers "You Are the One."

This is a fitting tribute, that will ensure the musical influence of Keith Green will reach another generation.
