"Hindsight" is lite rap/hip hop with a twist here and a twist there. Only in his early 20's, Reuben has early beginnings in hip hop tracking all the way back to elementary school when he had his first lyrics published to his independent debut (Monuments) in 1997.

"Hindsight" starts with an interesting twist on "I John Rue", as "The Rue" raps about keeping his music innovative and fresh, in similar fashion to the so called "Real Slim Shady". Fortunately this satire ends with "I John Rue" and from there on it becomes more unique. From track to track the CD goes from profound (Hindsight) to amusing (Soundman).

John Reuben takes pleasure in what he does and it's commendable that in the face of an overly critical industry, he stays with this format and puts aside any personal glory.
