What better way to start a career serving the Lord? At 19 years old Sarah has co-written her entire debut album with her father, Gary Sadler. Sarah is an energetic, highly talented young woman who is seeking to bring honor to God through her music and lyrics.

Though early in her career Sarah has already won her first Dove award, debuted on the R&R Adult Contemporary Chart at #30, and is currently on a national tour. Now with the help of producer Matt Bronleewe and her father Gary Sadler, Sarah has released her self-titled debut project.

Her debut is a fast-paced, energetic, and driving pop record. Add to that her well-written lyrics and she is sure to inspire. There are few slow songs, but when they do appear, they are deeply rooted in lyrics that emphasize a desire to live for Christ. This however, does not say that the faster-paced songs do not contain that same emphasis. Sarah Sadler does an awesome job of using various instrumentations and text that is well done for such a young performer.

My favorite tune was “Down to You” because of Sarah’s flow of text, which seems as if it were a prayer being sung. The string accompaniment is an excellent addition to this song, and it is one of the slower tunes, yet it is still pumped full of Sarah’s energy.
