Canadian garage band One Cross has shared the stage with the likes of P.O.D., Audio Adrenaline, Skillet, and Project 86. They are the only indi band at this time, to be nominated for "Best Rock/Alternative Album of the Year" at the 2002 Vibe Awards. "Welcome to the Real World" is the bands fourth release and it covers topics from teen suicide, depression, and self-esteem. Real social issues that they themselves faced as high schoolers. What? High School? That's right, three out of four members were still in High School at the time of production. What did they do, throw off the training wheels and grab a guitar?

"Welcome to the Real World" is all you could ask for in Christian hard rock. Awesome guitar leads, high energy, intimate lyrics and feelings. The messages conveyed through the music is clear and friendly. My greatest praise is for the boldness of their faith. Their lyrics are as aggressive as their music and they've put their faith first.
