Who Are We?

Duvall

Volume & Density
Duvall
Asian Man Records

Duvall is an indie-rock power trio which evolved from a successful secular indie-rock band called the Smoking Popes. In 1998, Josh Caterer, the Popes lead singer and eventual Duvall founder, left the music scene after a life changing conversion to Christianity. In 2001, Josh formed Duvall and with today's current members Eli D. Caterer, and Rob Kellenberger Duvall is rockin' with a new lease on life.

"Volume & Density" is guitar driven melodic rock that is original and singularly distinctive with writing that shows great wisdom. Josh is very serious about his writing and all you have to do is read his message board to find out just how serious he is. The closest comparison I can draw on is the work of Aaron Sprinkle.

From the smashing "Gimme Some Light" to the soft ballad "Jesus Never Leaves Me" you will find that you will quickly pick up on the chorus' and the irresistible urge to sing-a-long. "Volume & Density" also includes an interesting remake of "True" by Spandau Ballet.

I strongly urge you to check out http://www.duvallmusic.com/ and read about this amazing conversion and to sample the sounds of Duvall.
