Hallelujahs

Hallelujahs
A Rocketown Worship Collection
Rocketown Records

"Hallelujahs" is Rocketown's answer to the "City On A Hill" series. However, instead of the power-praises of the "City" collections Rocketown offers a softer, more intimate side of worship.

There is no doubt that the Rocketown label houses some of today's best heartfelt writers. From their archives they have pulled out just a small fraction of their best, including Watermark's "Gloria," "Holy," and Chris Rice's "Nothin." "Hallelujahs" also includes songs from recent additions to the Rocketown family like "Come to the River" by Ronnie Freeman and "Emmanuel" by Alathea.

There are three new tracks included on "Hallelujahs" as well, two of which were recorded live at the Gospel Music Week 2003 showcase. The two live tracks are "My Jesus I Love Thee" and "You Are My All in All." All of the Rocketown artists participated in the live recordings.

This is definitely a great collection of songs. But, with a line up like the Rocketown family there could have been more original songs and fewer of the already released materials.
