"This Is the Moment" has a surreal sonic sound that combines indie rock with a hint of modern worship. The ranges are evident when you listen to the upbeat "Radio Jesus Superstar" and compare it to the worship feeling of "The Only One."

I wouldn't consider "This Is the Moment" to be mainstream modern worship or rock because there is an artistic freedom resonating from this CD. A craftsmanship that is often lacking from over polished radio-friendly productions. It's hard to nail down the feeling of this CD when Pritzl, the heart of The Violet Burning, goes from a new wave "Lovesick" to a lovesick ballad like "I'm Not Letting Go."

Michael Pritzl wrote all the lyrics for "This Is the Moment," and he shares production credits with Andrew Prickett. Song after song, the listener is washed away with waves of emotions. It's an fascinating CD that you will never grow tired of.
