Collaborations KJ-52’s latest project is most likely known for its calculated letter to Eminem, called “Dear Slim.” KJ very gracefully puts forth a plea to Slim to think about his influence on his fans, generally teens or younger. “Collaborations” however is much larger than this one song. “Collaborations” is an assortment of songs that reflect the diversity of KJ’s personality and KJ-52 makes use of a few friends to drive home this diversity. These friends include the likes of John Reuben, Todd Collins, Ill Harmonics, Pillar, Thousand Food Krutch, Mars ILL, and Pigeon John. Ironically KJ-52 has an uncanny style similar to Eminem in sound, but not content. I’m positive that KJ-52 is prepared to defend or more so confirm his originality and cause for Christ and “Collaborations” is a strong testament to that. Ken W. |
