The Light of Things Hoped For... Taking a musical leap from Five Iron Frenzy, a few of the Frenzy members try something a bit unique. They call it Brave Saint Saturn and claim a genre of their own: astro-rock. The chronicle of the brave saint saturn is intriguing, mesmerizing, and empathetic. "The Light..." is an adventure that at times hits home with it's realness of tragedies still recent in history, namely the space shuttle accident. Dark as it may seem Brave Saint Saturn creator Reese Roper states that hope and light prevail. I'll close with some pertinent lyrics from "Daylight." Jesus Christ, Light of the World, you never did forget me.- Ken W. |
