Last year's Dove winner for New Artist of the Year, the Paul Colman Trio fires back with their sophomore release "One." Sticking to what works, the trio has produced a bouquet of radio formatted pop-rock songs. The first single "I'll Be With You" is a very catchy; easy to sing along with song, but my favorite is the subtle ballad "Your Man."

"One" is sure to put the trio on the charts again this year, but for myself I'm not a big radio listener. One too many rotations, and a song can lose much of its personality. The CD's message of unity and reconciliation out measure the production of simple radio rock.
