Who Are We?

Jill

Jill Paquette
Self-Titled
Reunion Records

Reunion's newest singer-songwriter Jill Paquette comes out strong with her self-titled debut. Musically it's acoustic driven, putting Paguette's voice center stage.

Many comparisons have been made between Sara Groves, Jennifer Knapp, and Ginny Owens to name a few. There are some likenesses to these artist but much of her passion and energy is very individual.

It's not that it's amazing or phenomenal, but that it's simple and enjoyable. There is a passion resonating from Jill's vocals that stimulates the senses. Songs like "Not the Only One" and "Forget" are standouts but there is not a bad track on the CD.

As any good singer-songwriter Jill Paquette writes stories that are personal and honest. On her self-titled debut, Jill either wrote or co-wrote all the songs. She is also a classically trained musician and she plays on all the songs too.

She's a fresh breath of air (a statement that is over used but you'll feel it) just like leaving the hustle of the city for the quiet country side.
