In a bold move, Flicker Records declares a new partnership with XXXchurch.com and releases a 17 track compilation titled “Flicker Rocks Harder.” The compilation features Flicker artists like Pillar, Everyday Sunday, The Swift, and Kids in the Way. The CD also includes a free software program called X3 Watch designed to keep people away from pornography on the web.

The two entities have also partnered up for a summer tour that includes Flicker artists and speakers from XXXchurch.com. The compilation CD is retailing for a mere $6.99 in order to make it more attainable to many.

XXXchurch.com is a powerful website that offers news, stories, and accountability! Their new software X3 Watch keeps track of objectionable web sites you visit, and once every 30 days or 2 weeks (depending on how you set it up) sends an email to an accountability partner you select. According to what I’ve read, the information only goes to those you choose and it is not stored or used by XXXchurch or any other organization.

The CD compilation includes some great hard rock, but more importantly it helps to redirect your attention to a matter that is hush-hush in the church. I highly suggest, if you’re brave enough, checking out XXXchurch.com, and if you like a mix of metal and rock, then pick up the companion CD “Flicker Rocks Harder.”
