Precious Moments
Loving, Caring, and Sharing & Precious Lullabies

Traditional Records Inc. is the latest company to license the highly recognizable Precious Moments. “Loving, Caring, and Sharing,” and “Precious Lullabies” are the first two releases in the series. The concept of the Precious Moments albums is to incorporate the Precious Moments characteristics of love, friendship, and encouragement into a song.

Loving, Caring, and Sharing

This CD includes 16 songs that build upon the fore mentioned characteristics. Some highlights include “That’s What Love is For” (Amy Grant), “I Will Be Here” (Steven Curtis Chapman), “Missing You” (Chris Rice), and the ever popular “Friends” (Michael W. Smith).

As far as compilations go this is a collection of subtle contemporary hits, some of which could have been heard on secular radio as well as Christian radio.

Precious Lullabies

This CD is pointed at mothers with newborns and infants, with dreamy songs that paint a picture of serenity. Lullabies open with a lullaby version of “I Can Only Imagine” (Mercy Me), sung by the groups lead vocalist Bart Millard. Other highlights include “Butterfly Kisses (Bob Carlisle), “Anna” (Michael W. Smith), and “Busy Hands, Busy Feet” (Michael Card and Christine Dente).

Each CD comes in special packaging that includes Precious Moments art work and a booklet with lyrics and more artwork.

The Precious Moments characters were birthed more than 25 years ago when creator Sam Butcher began drawing the teardrop-eyed children. Butcher eventually began drawing the Precious Moments characters on greeting cards and posters; which then caught the attention of other vendors including the popular figurines.

More information on the musical series can be found at www.traditionalrecords.com.
