WOW! This Australian-based youth and young-adult ministry lives up to its name. While they have a defined target audience, this 40-something reviewer loves this disk. Its high energy. All the songs are original compositions. A full horn section, similar to The Supertones, is present on several tracks, including the rousing opening song “Give Your Praise.” “Open Up the Gates” flat out rocks.

While listening to this disk, I was thinking that I'd love to see Planetshakers in concert. Included with the CD is a DVD. The DVD includes all of the songs on the CD and one bonus track. My whole family watched the DVD and really enjoyed the songs and performances. If you like high-energy worship and praise music, this disk comes highly recommended.

I have one small whiney complaint. The first six tracks are all amped up, bounce up and down songs. The final tracks are more contemplative, stretched-out hands type. Of course, I could program my CD player for random play to mix things up.
