The Journey is a five song EP from independent worship artist Caleb Rowden. Caleb’s career actually goes back to age 13 when Caleb performed and recorded with Wisdom’s Cry. The band recently disbanded and now doors have been opening for Caleb’s solo career.

Caleb has now put together a 5 song EP titled The Journey, in order to share and maybe shop around his cultivated talents. His solo debut is a modern rock/worship album with very revealing lyrics. Through song, Caleb shares his experiences and love for God. “As Christians, we are all on a journey, and these songs are meant to encourage and remind each of us that God is with us no matter what we may be going through.”

The modern rock/worship sound of The Journey is much different than the sound of Wisdom’s Cry. I particularly like “Send Me,” which highlights both Caleb’s distinct vocals and his penetrating message. It’s actually different than anything that’s charting right now, which makes it hard to make comparisons.
