There is no other group I can think of right now that would be more qualified to speak about perseverance. From prior label woes to personal illness and the loss of family, this crew of emcees has truly been through the wringer. On the other end they have surfaced with Disappear Here, their second CD on Gotee Records.

Themes of perseverance run throughout the CD and I heard what sounded to be a much smoother rhythm than was previously on The End Is Now. The use of loops and scratching seems to be more progressive as well.

I was fortunate enough to have a sit down with the L.A. Symphony crew at Lifest one year, and at the end of the conversation I had a much better appreciation for what they do. They are honest and transparent through their lyrics. Their music has a quality that gives it great credibility in the hip-hop market.
