“His Name is Jesus” is just one piece of a vast resource of music and songbooks that are dedicated at presenting the Gospel in a pure musical form.  The music is soft and understated, leaving most of the focus on the words.  There is however a wide variety of instrumentation on the CD including Flute, Cello, Harp, Organ, Glockenspiel, and various other string and wind instruments.  Vocally the project is quite traditional in two and three part harmonies.  Overall this combination makes for a very subdued presentation that is excellent for devotions or meditations.
