            “Comatose,” the newest release from Christian hard-rock mainstay Skillet is the most exciting thing to come from this camp since “Invincible.”  One thing for sure, the band has consistently been changing and rebuilding their sound, but this time the result works like never before.  Of course there has been a lot of great tunes since “Invincible,” but there is more to a good CD than just songs. 

After listening and watching the earlier podcast behind the scenes recoding “Comatose”, it really feels like there has been a rebirth just as the opening track states.  The additional use of strings and some bgv from Corey don’t hurt either.  This is definitely an album the faithful panheads will not be disappointed in.
