            This duo takes its name from the third chapter of Colossians.  They have a great modern country sound, featuring outstanding harmonies from Chad Little and Dave Romero.

            This debut is also filled with songs with some pretty decent lyrics. The worshipful “It’s You” is a standout track.  I also liked the simple but moving “I’ll Go” and “Well Done.”  The opener “Godspeed” tells us that for our awesome God “a 1,000 years from now is only a day away.”

            Little says, “We pray our songs transcend charts, award categories and culture itself.  We believe Jesus is the only way to God and our lyrics are about that, but we don’t necessarily have to say ‘Jesus’ throughout every song.  We hope people hear our passion and that our observations transcend religion to hopefully help someone right where they are, wherever they are.”

            I’m not necessarily a fan of the modern country sound but this is a very good record.  I hope they build a following and that we’ll hear from CO3 again.
