Kristyn Leigh The Heavy and the Holy Creative Soul Records Grade - B
Kristyn Leigh is a young contemporary aritst and her new album, “The Heavy and the Holy,” emphasize her remarkable talent as a vocalist. The soundtrack is a mix of pop, rock and contemporary gospel. The ministry and gospel message comes out clearly as well.
It is easy to hear through songs like “Two Sides of Me,” “Invisible,” “Pent Up,” and “The Old Rugged Cross” that Krstyn has a good range as a vocalist. Her voice was brought alive on “The Heavy and the Holy” by producer Eric Copeland, who also penned the majority of the album.
For a debut, “The Heavy and the Holy” is fully loaded at 14 tracks and a wide range of styles that make it a distinct album.
