            Christina Paul was born in India to Christian recording artists.  She has released six records in her native country.  This is her U.S. recording debut.  Fans of Rachael Lampa will appreciate this fine record.

            Christina says, “There have been some pretty solid jumps in terms of life, from my arranged marriage, and relocating to the U.S. to being a mom to a baby girl and having a full time job. . .releasing my debut album in English. . .so many new avenues to walk in. . .I have matured, grown in the Lord so much and God has taught me how to be completely reliant on Him as He took me through life’s journeys of ups and downs.”

            Christina has written nine of the ten tracks on this record.  There are worship songs “You Are Everything,” “You Are Everything”) and songs of assurance (“Am I Good Enough,” “Let It Go”),  I also liked the beautiful, understated “Search Me (Psalm 139).”   “I Wanna Be Like Him” has some excellent lyrics about worldly influences

            “Lay It Down” has a funky bass, while Christian demonstrates quite a vocal range on the classical arrangement of “Gethsemane.”

. “I wanted to write about the power of God’, says Christina “and about His amazing love and His never-ending grace.

“I always wanted to give the best to Him and do the best for Him and by His grace He made it possible to record the songs that He gave me, in the best studios in Nashville (Big Boy/ Sound Kitchen, Paragon, Dark Horse) where I worked with the incredibly talented crew of best musicians in town.....I thank the Lord for that and give Him all the praise and glory!

 “Everyday I walk out the door of my house; I meet so many people who look so lost and empty, and my heart is burdened to tell them about Jesus because He is the only One that can fill the void in their lives.

“We are called to be His disciples, to follow in His footsteps and to take the word of God to every corner of the Earth. Being obedient to that call, I want to use the talent He has given me for a purpose: to encourage other believers and to go beyond the walls of the church and change lives and bring people to Him.

“Music has touched my heart throughout my life and I believe that God is paving the way for me to connect with people through this scripture based music. My heart’s desire is to help those who are lost to find Jesus and encourage those who already know Him to a closer and deeper walk with the Lord. There are so many people that are lost; people who desperately need to hear about God’s grace, His never-ending love for them, and the truth of His word; and I know that God’s word does not come back void… it changes lives!”            

            I hope Christina Paul finds a wide audience in this country.
