Andreas is from Stockholm, Sweden where he has worked in the music business in supporting roles including producing, backup-vocals, and keyboards.  His first solo release, “Diamond No: 1” is a cross between pop and worship.  He uses “ambient” to describe himself on his MySpace and that is the feeling I got from the soundtrack and the rhythmic loops and drop-ins on many of the tracks.  It is a combination that works well with his quiet-emotive vocal style. The soundtrack overall stays fresh and active which is not always the case with ambient-pop music.  I think that you will find “Diamond No: 1” to be unlike the mainstream American CCM.  On Andreas MySpace page there are song samples and contact information.  Check it out!
