            According to the PR material for this disk, the song “God So Loved” by Jaci Velasquez inspired Max Lucado to write the book 3:16 The Numbers of Hope.  That song is included here, as are ten other re-issues.

            Sometimes I wonder about this repackaging.  If you’ve been listening to CCM for a few years, you probably have many of the songs here.  There is new material from Sandi Patty, Velasquez and Charmaine.

I understand that PR has a role in raising awareness for new material.  However, I wonder what Jesus would make of such hype as “one of the best evangelistic tools ever made” and  “unprecedented product launch.  Yes, t-shirts and ball caps are available, too.
