“Atmosphere” is a quaint pop/rock CD with a copious amount of mellowness.  It has been good background music however, and considering the content, it is an honest endeavor of worship.

Its major downfall is that it’s too mellow in a non-emo sort of way, and at the same time, its high points are not peppy enough to be power-pop. It just stays somewhere in the middle and I wished that it would pick up the tempo a little more often.  The greatest moment is on the title track “Atmosphere.”  Had they carried the energy on this song through the rest of the album it would have been a killer CD. 

I have to give them props for content, but the sameness of the delivery is going to be a challenge.

Sevenglory is on the 7 Spin Music label and “Atmosphere” is their sophomore release.  The press materials refer to a catchy pop sound with moments of vertical worship.  The band has both a MySpace page and an official web site.
