The illustrious Carman returns with a mighty shout of Gospel on his most current release “Instrument of Praise.”  A change of style is not uncommon for Carman who is often hard to peg down to one genre. The Gospel flavor of “Instrument of Praise” works well for Carmen. 

It is a pleasure to see Carman emerge again after a brief hiatus from recording.  The high-energy of gospel tunes like “The Overflow” and “Celebration Day” will have you bouncing in your seat.  My favorites are the narrative style “That’s My King,” and “This Blood/ This Power.”  

Carman’s accomplishments as a recoding artist and performer are well known in the industry, as well as his theatrical shows and upfront delivery of the gospel.  “Instrument of Praise” continues in this same vein.  Also, highlighting the release of “Instrument of Praise,” Carman is focusing again on his personal evangelical mission of spreading the gospel.  There is no doubt that his outreach mission has impacted many lives and taking a look at his official website you can see that he is still building on this beyond the boarders of the United States.
