An excellent sophomore solo release from this member of the worship band Desperation Band.
I really like the up-tempo songs including “Promises” and its shout-along chorus, as well as “Glorified.” “Finding You” is another solid track.
Anderson says his young children’s presence fills this record. He says, “’Promises’ is definitely their song. Kids just love to dance around and sing.”
Recent events have challenged and strengthened Anderson’s commitment to his church, New Life Church of Colorado Springs, CO.
He says, “The typical demonstration of our devotion to God is to throw a party. As a church, we just haven’t felt like doing that. There is no more positive message than the gospel, of course, but we had to dig deeper and to ask, ‘What do I do here in the not-knowing part?’”
