Veggie Tales
Minnesota Cuke &
The Search for Samson’s Hairbrush

VTThe latest video from the veggie patch, places Larry the Cucumber as a “mild-mannered” Minnesota Cuke, curator of a children’s museum by day, and a regular Indian Jones by night. Cuke embarks on a trek around the world to find Samson’s brush before the Canadians, who are allegedly plotting to takeover, both sides of Niagara Falls. The adventure takes Larry on a harrowing ride through glaciers and catacombs in search of the brush.
Throughout all the excitement, the story of Samson and how he lost his strength is told, and lessons of obedience, kindness, and love are expressed. In the end, Cuke learns how to love his enemies (who, it turns out, are not the Canadians), and that the real power of Sampson was not from his brush or hair, but it was from God.

Also included is a feature with Junior Asparagus, who has to dig deep to find the courage to face a playground bully. As tradition goes, there is a segment of Silly Songs with Larry, where Larry sings “Pizza Angel”. Additionally, the theme song for this adventure is sung by country legend Charlie Daniels. DVD extras include an interview with Charlie Daniels, trivia, games, sing alongs, and a whole lot more!
