Worship music is always best when “experienced” live. The crowd singing together, the power of the amplified music, and most of all the testimonies shared on stage.

Third Day attempted to capture all that on video, on March 31st, 2001 at a hometown concert in Atlanta, GA. With nearly 15,000 fans in attendance the amphitheater was alive with spirit. The band puts on a great show playing some all time favorites like “Sky Falls Down,” “Thief,” and “Agnus Dei.”

Of course even a live video lacks the sensation of the real thing, but Third Day interweaves the video with approximately sixty minutes of behind the scenes footage. The footage gives insight into the daily lives of the band while on the road and the preparation that goes into each show. Also included on the DVD is commentary by the band describing the songs and adventures while on the road.

At the time of my purchase, The Offerings Experience was exclusive to www.thirdday.com in that their web site was the only place you were going to buy it. Although I’m use to buying things on line, I was worried about this purchase. After selecting the DVD and punching in my credit info I was not given any indication that the order was processed or how much was going to be charged to my account. After waiting in anticipation for a few days, the DVD arrived and I was charged correctly, and it was worth the suspense.
